In view of the problems Wimborne seem to have, should we be thinking about how we can avoid a similar problem. We regularly see Peter and his boys at the match, I have never felt they are a nuisance. But then Peter as done he right thing by bringing them to the matches. This lets the youngsters see the acceptable behaviour, and how you can still have a good time without causing anyone any upset. So parents bring along your kids and lets bring back true respect to saturday afternoons.

I think the kid for a quid or free schemes that even league clubs run would be a good thing, and also good PR for the club. The spin-offs in terms of food, scarves, etc could be a bonus and also encourage fans of the future. I got the bug for Argyle when i was just two. My daughter is only three but wants to come already, maybe a push involving the Youth Teams at their schools could be good. Failing that, 149(Poole) Squadron Air Training Corps is on Wimborne Road. They are an excellent organisation, who welcome all.

I think its silly to charge kids to come in,lets be honest, most of them dont watch the game anyway, there is normally a game going on over by the car park.I`d say under 16s should come in for free, you`d still get drinks and sweet money from them, and they`d be getting hooked on the Poole Town bandwagon without realising it. Wimbornes problem is there is nothing for the youth or teenagers to do up there so they come to the football matches and miss-behave,in Poole there is much more for the youth to do,so they dont tend to come, but if they come with their parents then they have to behave themselves. So lets let the kids in for free,if with an adult.

;DYep kids for free if with an adult. I'd bring my grand-daughter, she'd love the big field to play in

As usual the forum agree on a sensible idea. What do the board think?
