It was unfortunate to see some of the Wimborne younger fans were waiting as it were, for some Poole fans to initmidate after the game today (a well deserved point I may add).
It was, however, good to see the Poole fans not rise to their immature levels, and they just said they were there to support their team as they do every week.
Hopefully, WFC sort this internal problem out sooner rather than later. It might put other fans going off to the Cuthbury for games.
Well played you Dolphins.
Onwards and upwards.

I'm not surprised. Have you ever seen the Facebook page for their young supporters? Not a good advert for their club.

Just about say's it all doesn't it! I didn't make it there tonight but I'm sure it was the same 'Few' thingys who try and intimidate the 'Away' fans but instead let their side down! Still they will soon have a new supermarket to hang about at when it gets built. (Damn shame losing their cricket pitch there! ) Roll on Saturday when we get back to reality! ;D

Did this happen literally straight after the final whistle afcbloyal? I was coming out of the exit by the car park when I saw tall lad get approached by a few, what I can only describe as 'chavs'. I heard the tall lad talk himself out of it, but this is something that we shouldn't have to worry about in the Wessex League, or in football in general.

Have just had a look at the Wimborne Forum , and there is a fair bit of dialogue on there regarding some of the silly little boys that frequent Cuthbury on match-days. I notice that the childish remarks of one particular half-wit have sensibly been removed by their adjudicator , but someone else has put forward the thought that this is merely Poole supporters making a fuss about nothing , and that the behaviour of the Cuthbury Chav Brigade should not be compared with "Real football Hooliganism" , and is just some local lads expressing their new-found masculinity. Obviously this is mostly very true , and for those of us that followed Professional Football thro' the 70's and 80's , and had days were you literally felt as though you were not going to get home alive , a few little boys gobbing off in a quaint little Market town in the middle of Dorset doesn't hold the same adrenalin-fuelled terror of getting off a train in Manchester and making your way through the narrow cobbled streets to Old Trafford , but all the same , the reason some of us old farts such as me now enjoy watching football at "Lower level" is that we are there purely to enjoy the game , and indulge in the occasional bit of friendly banter with away supporters , such as those of Frome Town , who , even though they knocked us out of the Cup , left on such terms that we wish them well in the next round .

It was a laughable incident to be honest, just a few jumped up lads who have watched a bit too much Green Street. Seen far, far worse then that following England abroad. ;D

Any thoughts any of you may have about bringing back National Service to "Teach them a lesson" can stop now. We have enough to deal with as it is. Don't need to be wiping the bums of mummy's little darlings. Can't say it's a problem unique to Wimborne, it's every where.

It basically was just as people were going out. The tall lad in a white hood who was on his way back to his car got verbally abused by as you say 'chavs'. He was sensible, and did himself proud by talking to them without resorting to violence. They still wanted a punch up though. Thugs. Hopefully they can be sorted out, otherwise Wimborne's reputation as a family club (like Poole) will be tarnished even more.

Whats needed is the 'Taffy' and 'Major' Boot Camp for any of those youngsters stepping out of line. On a serious note, there must be a Wimborne official reading this thread - Maybe an idea to put some stewards in the carpark after a game to stop any malarky and possible bullying ?
