Must admit I'm really looking forward to this one, based on it looks like it will be a real test for both teams with all the makings of a good Cup tie. Who will lose their unbeaten record ? Any Frome fans out there willing to comment on their side and how they are playing ?

I see Frome won 4-0 away at Bideford in their league on Saturday.
I agree, really looking forward to the thrill of another cup tie. I will definitely be there with my eldest son and may even drag my Dad alongas he is visiting (as a Newcastle fan he needs to see a decent team!).

This will be the hardest game of the season for Poole Town. Frome have a useful side and unbeaten in the Western League including 2 visits (and victories) to Bideford who are a very experienced side. However, I am sure that they will be fearing Poole Town and from memory the last few meetings (going back now to 1979?? when I was Asst Manager at Frome Town) have gone Fromes way.
Time for a change then?

I look forward to seeing them play, the challenge they will present is going to show us how far the Dolphins have progressed. Having not seen Frome play this season it is difficult to predict the pattern of play, what we do know is that Poole will be firing on all cylinders. That will prove to be the deciding factor, and the fact that they are at our beloved Tatnam.

I have what's known in RAF parlance as a "Pink Chit" for Saturday, eg consumption of alcohol has been approved by the supreme being, god bless her :-)

Hi all, coming down on Saturday so hope the weathers good! You've had a tremendous start this season, we are doing well but not with quite as good results and you have home advantage so i suggest bookies would probably have you as favorites. Whats your ground like? Wish it was still the old one, I reckon about 70-80 coming from Frome and we prefer shelter if raining. We have room undercover for about 400-500 at a push at Badgers Hill (or Aldersmith Stadium) to give it its new official sponsors name : . As i'll be there early are there any pubs nearby for pub grub and good beer? I wont wish you good luck of course but I hope we can be mates at the final whistle whatever the result, its a lot better enjoying what will be a great atmosphere on Saturday following our clubs, than wasting £35 watching premiership prima Donna's in full, but quiet and sterile stadiums!

Welcome Frome fan, as already mentioned we have, shall we say, a 'Cosy' clubhouse where you can purchase a tipple at a very reasonable price and some lovely burgers and hot dogs from the tea hut next door. If you do decide to go elsewhere don't be afraid to mention you're going to the football as it might open up new channels for sponsorship for us. Right! now down to the 'Nitty Gritty', who are your stars on the pitch and what system do you play ? And may the best team win!

Nice sentiments fromefan. Most of us would agree with what you said about the prima donnas in the 'league of greed' too! The 'old ground' was good until the speedway and the greyhounds came along and we had to watch our footie from about 100 yards away. But that's history so welcome to Dorset again. You'll like Tatnam and I know you'll be made welcome.

Here's what another Frome fan thinks about our players and our pitch Taken from the Frome Town site. should be a great game and i will love it if we come away with a win as most of the poole town players are knobs and think they r better than they r!! ...shame that the boys will not be playing on a great surface like up the hill...but i guess they can do 90 mins on a park pitch and do a job. roll on 3pm !!

You gotta laugh. Who's the real knob?

I would suggest the playing surface at Tatnam is top class. As good as any I would say, Chris must be in contention for Groundsman of the Season. Does such a thing exist in the Wessex??

Chris has done a fantastic job on our pitch and it's as good as any i've seen three leagues higher. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's game and think it's going to be one of those highly competetive Cup matches - Any thing can happen. Shame the flag won't be here although they've guarenteed me it will be here for Wimborne on Tuesday COYD.

Think that particular Frome fan with attitude might also visit Ashton Gate if he has that mentality, will only gee the players up more. There's a championship side in Devon who could do with Chris's services, pitch looked superb this afternoon. Come On You Dolphins

Yes, it is a pity. A bit childish too I think! Or, perhaps, a bit like fans of 'League of Greed' sides? I think we're going to win today. UP THE DOLPHINS!
