Well another cracking win for the mighty Dolphins with Goals from Stuart Brown and 'Taffy' in the first half and then one by James Bailey-Pearce in the second half. The game was well attended. I was chuffed as I predicted right!

was the salisbury lad in goal tonight? how did he do? Yes he was, but I can't comment on him because he hardly touched the ball! I'm sure he did not have a shot to save!!

A game that we would have probably drawn last season ended up being a good team performance this season. I thought it was very workmanlike and hard yet again to pick man of the match. Was it Lamin winning everything at the back, Taffy showing good fitness and silencing any critics, maybe Gilly running his heart out as usual, or even Browner working hard off the ball to open up space......well done lads!! Cowes are no push overs yet it seemed they didn't get a sniff of our goal. Testimony to a good team performance.
Well done to the ref also, I thought he had a reasonable game.

Another good team performance, as M3 as already said. Some lovely passing second half. I don't think our keeper made one save. Cowes did keep trying though. Roll on Saturday. Come On You Mighty Dolphins!!! PS, Well done Fareham.

Thanks to those who made kind comments on my analysis regarding Lymington. Personally I think my comments are no match for Steve Bean's thorough reports.
I can't say that much about last night as I only managed to catch the second half. Billie took an excellent goal, Tommy made a triple substitution and after that the game was really very quiet with Poole in complete control.
Given Cowes had only let in 1 goal from the first 5 matches this was an impressive result.
I see VT only managed to draw last night but Wimborne had a very good away win and are starting to rise up the table. Should make for an interesting match next Tuesday.

I don't know about you guys but every time I watch this team it never ceases to amaze me how far they have come in such a short while. I never felt at any time last night we would either lose or even concede a goal ;D It would be wrong to pick out any individual player, the best player last night was the "whole team"

Thanks lads, great! I was on a train yesterday that was three hours late into Lancaster so I didn't get home until 1.30 a.m. So the Dolphins 100% record intact was good news to get up to today! P.S. For once it wasn't VT or Network Rail but someone 'shooting at trains' from a bridge I think.
