First half was actually pretty even - both sides closing the other down and Lymo were not bad. Poole took lead through another great Mickey Hubbard 25 yard strike. Lymo equlised with a peno a minute later! Stu Brown headed Poole in front right on stroke of half time. Little lucky to be up at break I thought. HT 1-2 Poole much better second half. Got it down and played. Could have had a hatful in the second half but Lymo keeper was outstanding and finishing wasn't the best. But 2 good goals - Gilly with strike and Steve Smith finishing a great move.
Full report and website to be updated tomorrow. Cheers,
Steve

Thanks Steve, for those of us who had to work instead of "adoring the Dolphins" your report is very welcome. What is it now 8 wins in the league? What's our best ever? Am I right in saying it's Cowes on Tuesday?
This is a great season so far ;D

Another good display by the lads made it another great day out, it could have been more but for their keeper who to be fair had a good never say die attitude. Fantastic support again for Poole and at a guess there must have been around 100 away fans present. Great rapport through the whole club.

We will surely have to taste disappointment again, won't we

Another solid performance by Poole as we have come to expect. Micky Hubbard's strike must be another contender for goal of the season (I think he has the other one as well). The penalty looked very dubious to me. Our stand in keeper was very brave and got the lump on his head to proove it. Lucky we had Jason on the bench - as we often don't have a stand in. The penalty seemed to unsettle us and for a while I thought Lymington might edge another. Our defenders started arguing at one another for a while which was worrying. However, as usual another excellent set piece allowed another new scorer to grace Poole - Simon Brown.
Tommy clearly sorted them out at half time as Poole were in complete control for the second half. Lymington didn't help themselves going down to 10 men - what a crazy thing to handle the ball on the ground when you are already ion a yellow card. Good play from Charlie to set Gilly up for number 3. Very unselfish of Billy to set Steve Smith up for number 4.
We should have had many more - Taffy must have been gutted to see his header cleared off the line as I was already celebrating the goal! Charlie must also be devastated not to be on the score sheet as he came close on many occasions.
What I find encouraging is again no obvious man of the match - just solid performances by everyone. The fact that we scored 4 and Charlie didn't score is also good news (except for Charlie!).
As someone who rarely goes to away games I was very impressed by the number of Poole fans there. We definitely outnumbered the home fans. We certainly made more noise than them (I didn't notice there subs come on as no-one clapped at all).
How long can this glorious spell continue?

Thanks for your detailed analysis peterlep. Seconded, I always look forward to Peterlep's reports. Micky Hubbards Goal; I was stood right behind the net and the ball arrowed straight towards me. As soon as it left his foot I knew it was in, tremendous shot. The play that led to the third or fourth goal, sorry brain's muddled, was excellent. As I've said before, what an excellent day out ;D

Great entertainment, as usual. One sour note for me - I thought both teams managements attitude towards the games officials was wrong. They weren't the best, but that's not the point. At a time when players, crowd etc should be making an effort to be more "respectful", I thought Tommys attitude was not on. In my opinion he was patronising and out of order. Their bench (the trainer in particular) were just pathetic.

Are you stalking me?! I suggest you keep that picture for your "private" collection. Not sure I can make it, the missus is away - so will be at home with the kids. If you take your Dangleberry, you can update the messsageboard for me live from the game?

I understand - you probably don't get a great reception when you use your dangleberry downstairs.
