It was good to see us go through, but in truth I thought we were in control all through the game, and without getting into top gear. Passing wasn't brilliant, mainly due to the slope and windy conditions but when we did get it together we shut down their player, produced a few passes and a great cross to lead to a typical centre forwards headed goal. Good to see a large contingent of Poole fans helping the team to press on. And of course the FA Cup prize money is a welcome bonus. How did Christchurch get on, are they free to play us on Tuesday ?
Well Done Lads!

Christchurch appear to have beaten Melksham 2-1, according to Tony Kempster's site: www.tonykempster.co.uk/facep.htmVTFC went out 0-2 at home to Newport Pagnell, and Wimborne got a goalless draw at Dawlish. Willand Rovers won 6-0, so will visit us on 30 August.

Cheers Doug, Christchurch going through means we can hopefully keep the winning momentum going on Tuesday. Convincing win from Willand, look forward to playing them.

Thanks for all the updates. Great news - the cup run is on. Still no-one can score against us - all looking very promising.

Wel done laglandst! My predictions have been wildly wrong so far in everything except the outcome of the games! We're due to really 'hammer' someone soon! Aren't we?
