Is it my imagination or is the forum getting busier ? I recently spoke with another Poole supporter who mentioned the web site played a key part in him coming along last season to support the club once again, after a break away. I reckon as well as the Best programme our Web site's got to be the best in the league too.

Hi stfcinbmth, Sorry hadn't replied to your other posting re the website delay. Basically it's all just a matter of time for me to do it really. Had made a start as you know but work commitments has meant that I've just not been able to progress as much as possible. I really want to migrate EVERYTHING to new site (8 years of history, reports etc) but that will take forever! So i'm planning to just have last season's and this season's on there. Biggest issue now is that we are already into new season so I have to maintain old site now which means even less time to do new one!!! I might have to wait until end of this season now before moving across properly. I will do all the match reports on new site (as per Fareham game) as I can then store match photos etc on there. (NB you will see if you highlight the match report link that it is actually taking you to www.poole-townfc.co.uk rather than www.poole-town.fsnet.co.uk. I appreciate offer of help but not sure if there is anything you can do really at the moment. Biggest help I could have would be for someone to write the match report!! It takes me ages!!!! Anyway - any other ideas for new / old website greatly appreciated (as long as they don't take much time!!!! - Started Prediction League and we've already got 15 in that!!!!!) Bit of fun thought! Regards, Steve

Many thanks Steve, without your hard work we wouldn't have a forum. It is greatly appreciated, so you do the new one when you get round to it. We can wait. I was delighted to hear that the forum as been instrumental in getting people down to the match, supporting the boys. After all that's what brings us all together, all I want is Poole to win everything. Well nearly everything ;D And as far as being the best forum in the league, if we aren't we will be. ;D

I second all that. We already have a first class site as good as or better than any I've looked at. Thanks a lot Steve! We are slepe!

Wonder who bought poole-townfc.co.uk? lol tinyurl.com/59xv6jSo guys get yourself a nice poole domain name and add an email account and you can have a nice mail addy that looks something like this If your folks are stuck with what to get you at birthday or xmas this is ideal slepe12@poole-townfc.com m3dolphin@poole-townfc.org.uk Brian@poole-townfc.uk.com Just trying to amuse myself as I cannot make the game tonight PS and no I don't own 123-reg tho it would be nice if I did

Like it stfcinbmth ;D
Steve, I think the site is great as it is and any other updates will just improve an already first class site. Great work. I wish I could help out with the match reports but as the so called credit crunch bites I have to put in more hours on an already time demanding night shift unfortunately.

One of the first things I looked for when I was compiling the family tree and looking at the roots of my family was the local football club. The web site drew me in as a viewer then later as a poster. The friendly and competitive attitude and challenge of helping, as a supporter, my home town club regain it's place higher up the pyramid was something that the web site is mainly responsible for. Without getting carried away this club should at least be playing at conference National level if the local resources can be fully prized open.

I have had a similar experience to you m3. I agree with everything you say. When PTFC were playing in the old Southern League Premier division that WAS - as you know - equivalent to national Conference level. We only need four promotions starting this year so I could easily live long enough!

Up to 246 members and there were around 194 visitors viewing in the last 24 hours yesterday. Seems to be getting busier lets hope more support can come to the club because of this A1 web site.

Having just moved back to Poole, the website and the friendly attitude on it definitely made up my mind to go along to Tatnam instead of travelling a long way to watch others.

The forum mirrors the club sterteroad.
Poole Town FC is the most friendly club I have ever experienced.
That's why I go ;D
