Shhhhh, I'm meant to working so I will say this only once And pop back later with more. Harvell was back between the sticks. Lukey, Hoges and Simon Brown were who I recognised at the back. Simon Brown looks a good signing. Dibba wasn't present neither was Trefor or Taffy. Bailey-Pearce, Jack Swann, Danny Taylor (Ringwood), Kieth Middleton, Scott ?? and Hubbard ( Ran his socks off). Need to go away and think ;D Edited to add. Steve Smith and Holmesy got on the pitch in the second half along with Middleton. Replacing Lee Philips who put himself about a bit in the first half. Stuart Brown was on the bench but wasn't used. My apologies to the other players, I am either not familiar or missed them. The squad looks to have more pace this season compared to last aswell as more players with tricky feet, and we also have a bit more strength in the side. Looking forward to Saturday, C'mon you Dolphins!!

Also young Sturgess, how did I forget him ? In the short time I've seen him he looks bigger, stronger and more confident with every game, and could be the driving force in midfield. Made a noticable difference to the team today when he played the second half. One to look out for this season.

Charlie Austin came on in the second half and looks class. Adam came on for the last 15 minutes inplace of Jason in goal. I think m3 got the rest of them. Sturge looks back to his best and with Lamin back in defence and Taff in midfield the season looks promising.

Yes - Poore did play against Holt. And I agree - I've seen him in the Bashley and Holt games and have been impressed. Very cool on the ball and seems to play the right ball at the right time.
Simon Browne looks different class as well. Commanding at the back, good organiser, good in the tackle (Ricco 2???!).
So pleased to see Dave Sturgess back with us and again, has looked superb when he has played pre season.
So many issues for Tom to work out - up front will be interesting too - I agree with other comments here - Charlie Austin looks a very very good player and I would think would be a definite starter. Who else with him though? Smithy...... Swann............ Middleton looks trim and fit and has always scored goals. Tough choices.
Probably the most intriguing start to a season for some time in terms of what the starting line-up will be. Roll on Saturday...........
Cheers,
Steve

Thanks Steve, I agree with all that. Tommy has got some difficult choices too make..............I just hope he recognises the value of the younger players, they also can display a cool and tactical approach. Without the barrage of expletives and constant criticism. I've always thought that encouragement produces better and longer lasting results, particularly in the young. And they are the future of Poole Town

Absolutely right slepe! I used to be a teacher and I agree that praise, encouragement and constructive advice are worth 100% more than criticism, blame and haranging (with or without expletives).
