i have seen this young boy play. he does have a strong left foot and doesnt wimp out of a challenge. he has good pace aswell. There arnt many left footed players around and this would certainly help the reserves if they want to win the league!!!
personally i think he is worth a training session at least!!

Is he better than Mark Jackson?. If not, surely as a club moving forward we should only be looking at players better than we already have!!.

yes i read it , i am always interested in quality youngsters, I will ask about him, as i have a friend who scouts for me for players from 15 to 18 years, he knows all the quality youngsters.
But we have to look at him, he might not want to move, if he does then we must approach his club according to DFA rules.
Not as Dorchester did to us with Karanjit, where Simpkins promised him First Team football, i thought Mark Morrissey was the manager at Dorch, obvisously he has his sights set on Marks job.

Following good 3 v 2 win over Wimborne Res today with many youngsters again playing well (Bayston, Dobbs, Sturgess, Snell and Chivers) do we need any more. We want to keep the ones we've got.

I saw Karim playing on Sunday morning, but why does that mean he has fallen out with Hamworthy? Many of the players also play for a Sunday team.
Karim didnt score Sunday morning, but his strike partner Jamie Rahmann (who has played in the last 3 games for Poole) scored a hat trick.
If Karim has fallen out with Ham Utd however, Im sure that most of us would like to see him back at Poole!

What a load of rubbish. Just because he played doesnt mean he's fallen out with Pikey. He could have even played without Pike's permission he could have played with it considering he played and scored for Hamworthy on Saturday I dont think so.

reference:- Karim, if u r leaving a club, 1st u fall out with that club, then u come off your contract thus enabling u to be able to play sunday football, with me so far!!!. then in October you sign for another club. now is the time to see if he wants to come back to us, b4 he signs 4 (as rumour would have it) poppies.

Whoever the new player is its obvious that the Dolphins need him, is the present squad capable of winning Wessex 2?? Three losses, two of them to teams that are not going to be challenging for the title....if you don't score goals you cannot win. and again consistency is lacking. You supporters are out there every week what are your suggestions to get PTFC back up the ladder?

I think the reserves got more chance of promotion than the 1st team.
The reserves play exciting football and have no primo donnas, I would feel guilty picking up my money if i played in the first team.
Someone needs to sort it, on current form we are not going to get anywhere near the top position.
Maybe TK, TR, should watch the reserves and play the same way.
Just a thought, if we dont get promotion, who will be our manager next year. Paul Daniels.

I am sure the e-mail suggesting Tommy should change the 1st team to play like the Res is tonuge in cheek, yes the Res do TRY to play good football under KJ, but the standed of opposistion is totally different to Wessex 2! These kids would be destroyed if pushed too far too quick, I agree many of them have a REAL desire to play for PT and maybe that can't be said of some of the 1st team, some, who may think they are too good for DSL when current results suggest otherwise, if only they all had the professionalism of Taffy Richardson, but Tommy is well aware who these individuals are, and will sort it out, for sure. I suggest some of the 1st team not currently doing the business for Tommy are "dropped" to (1) get there confidence back, (2) Help bring the youngsters on, I wonder how many of them would be prepared to do that, By that I mean the more established players not just the fringe squad players as is the case just now? the plus side would be the Res may well, then gain promotion to the DPL, which in turn would bring better players to the club if a decent level of Reserve team football was available.

Yes I completely agree, there are 2/3 1st team players who are just really not performing anywhere near what they can and almost take their starting position for granted. I would certainly like to see them dropped if this continues.
I do think we have some very talented players in the reserves, would they cope yet in Wessex 2? Only 1 way to find out! Tommy has already said if you are good enough then you are old enough. At least some of them would have the hunger and desire that seems to be lacking for some players at the moment.
