at 11.19am tomorrow Tuesday 4th April a Swanage Railway Train will leave Wareham for Swanage
First time in 50 plus years!
As one who travelled behind LSWR tank engines on that line I say
Very Good luck to the SR in this initiative
And that brings about the die hard PTFC supporters cry "Never Say Never!1"

Great news expat, thanks. Is it the start of a regular service between Wareham and Swanage? And you’re right, of course, never say never!

The train from Wareham is due to arrive at Corfe at 1149
You can see it all happen on the Swanage Railway Webcam
or even better for some lucky ones, from the viewing area in the Bankes Arms gardens!
They sell Palmers!

On Easter Sunday Ol Expat became the Great Grandfather of a baby boy

I always followed the football Clubs where my siblings lived\. My sister lived near Carlisle so I was pleased to see CUFC win their penalty shoot out final at Wembley. I have actually gone to a match at Brunton Park and the Cumbrians have always enjoyed very good local support on their journey up and then down the leagues! and what a fairy tale win for their manager in his second go round with the club. It is indeed the GREAT game shadowing the ups and downs of life!!
UP THE TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN!!!!
