Not one bit surprised with the weather we've just had!!! And yet many other local games are on! Wimborne on, Verwood on, New Milton on, Ringwood on. All on after pitch inspection and they’ve had the same amount of rain as we have

It's the Tatnam Effect
As soon as we get a little momentum going!!
Can;t we persuade the Pirates to race on their original formation and we get to play on a 3G field at The SXXXXXM
Yes we still have PTFC but until we get rid of the Tatnam Noose our progress is impeded

Possibly tatnam has dried out a bit since then and might have passed?

I was at the ground yesterday, and it was only 60/40 then, before the overnight deluge.

OK. Cloe your ears
BUT
and i know its a long time ago part of the joys)(!!) of watching The Town was to stand,or later, sit and watch a game in the rain and on a heavy pitch/. It often changed the whole dynamics of the league table, High flyers who could not handle the sticky stuff came to grief and best of all it shot predictability to hades!

I was also at Tatnam yesterday and there were some soft spots but, it was playable but as other have said, the overnight rain was still pouring when the inspection took place this morning. It does bring into question why a pitch inspection should be needed that early. It is likely that the pitch would have drained (there have been improvements to the drainage recently) enough to play by lunchtime.

Think Poole Town did everything to get the game on. Managed to get 2,000 litres (about 3,520:pints) of water off of the pitch. Only for last night to get it all back again, with interest! I was looking forward to today. But never mind, we will get to play it sometime this season. At least we all have homes to go to & a roof over our heads. Unlike those supported by the #NoHomeKit campaign. They have to find shelter from such weather, wherever they can.

It prevented a wasted journey by us and also the cost to your club in funding our return journey had the pitch not been playable at KO time. As a matter of interest was the pitch playable at 3pm today and with the further rain forecast would it have finished?

I can’t answer if the pitch was playable at 15.00 but we only had a couple of hours of dry weather after 11.00ish then we kept getting heavy showers
