Well with respect I think we all new the game was not going to be on. I really now it should be time for the BoD to announce sooner than later plans for a get away from what is a inadequate playing surface I'm sure the Southern Football league are monitoring our situ at this time. I also appreciate all the hard work that is put into trying to get games on but it's pretty obvious we are losing this battle!!!. COYD.

BREAKING NEWS JANUARY 19TH 2036: Todays home fixture has unfortunately been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. A spokesperson for the club said; " After long discussions with the referee it was decided that the pitch at the newly sponsored Splashdown arena was unfit to play on". The spokesperson attempted to allay any concerns the fans had by adding that there was some exciting news, but couldn't say just what it is just yet for confidentiality reasons.....

Yes I saw they've got an inspection - I'll keep an eye out. I'll start a new thread about the coach on Tuesday and Saturday to Yate - 3.15 on Tuesday and 11.15 on Saturday.

Just when we start to get a head of steam we are cut off. how are we going to get to the play offs at this rate? BD. Loved your satire but unfortunately there could be an element of truth in it!! If you hear a moan as you sit in the stands at Tatnam in 2036 it will be ol Expat and countless others who have gone before coming by as we get a day pass from St Peter!! ..only to find match postponed!!

Haven't seen the forecast. But probably no rain in the Poole area until about 2 days before our next home match!

Two other matches off at Beaconsfield and Hartley Wintley so its not just us. Also matches of all across the non league pyramid including Barnet v Dagenham & Redbridge in the National League. Let's hope for dryer (but not colder, don't want snow or frozen pitch) in Poole going forward. But if not we might be playing in June!
