Not the best of displays in fairness. Horrible pitch dreadful weather. We created loads of chances and didn’t take any .Mere fought like dervishes and took their one opportunity. Couldn’t really argue with the result.Couldhave been very different ...but it wasn’t! Fine margins.

Unfortunately the Ressies skilful passing game isn't suited to heavy pitches and they do seem to struggle in those conditions. After last week's cancellation at Mere, we expected the same again so chose another match to watch. We went to see Blackfield and Langley in the Trophy instead. They won 3 - 1 against a very poor Truro side and progress to the next round against Kingstonian on Wednesday evening. Glen (and James) have built a good team there playing direct football and it's such a shame they don't get the support they deserve. There were 57 spectators at the game and over 10% of those were from Poole Town.

Based on the recent performances by our players and team management would I be just stirring the pot to suggest you could've been watching the next Poole Town F.C. management team. ??

....meanwhile the alternate "Pride of Dorset" keep playing(!!) and keep winning. Think about it!! Anazimg what you can do with lots of money isn’t it? Big crowds, easy access to AFCB and ex AFCB players and £15 entry? Must be hard for Mark Moseley.

Much like Steve Claridge CBM (Cheque Book Manager) How old school. Well I suppose a cheque is a lot easier to cancel & takes longer to bounce than a BAT (Bank Automated Transfer). 😉

I doubt if Terras fans are complaining about an extra few pounds if there is production and progress on the field (taking of which what are the current odds for Tatna on Saturday??)

I doubt if Terras fans are complaining about an extra few pounds if there is production and progress on the field (taking of which what are the current odds for Tatna on Saturday??) Firstly many Terras' fans moaned like hell at the increase. Secondly, although there has been rain and more is forecast today, non of it has been heavy and there is currently no rain forecast after 4am tomorrow. I suspect there will be a game on tomorrow at the Tatnam Farm.

Let's hope so and that it's a good game, with the result going our way. Then our recent cup form can become a thing to be forgiven and forgotten.

Big crowds, easy access to AFCB and ex AFCB players and £15 entry? Must be hard for Mark Moseley. When Mark was appointed, there were a lot of doubters, including me. We were proven wrong. Admission prices had been held for many years, but had to go up, due to inflation & added costs through promotion. Attendances & therefore revenue are up . Access to AFCB is a fortunate and permissible opportunity. It actually works well for both clubs. I'd love you to join in the warmer waters of NL South. At the end of the day, what we have achieved has been done organically, within the club & no Flash Harry, money geezer involved.
