The Ressies/U18s trials on Saturday were very interesting. Didn't see a great deal of the U18s but there were several very interesting looking players on show at the Ressies trials and a good showing from our own existing players. I believe there were 40 triallists for the U18s and 30 for the Ressies. Some of them were signed up and will possibly be on display on Saturday in the game against Cherbourg. Come on down to the County ground and have a look for yourself.

Can someone please, breakaway from the party, that is going on and tell us what happened today. Some may want to know the score. But hopefully new friendships were made and Poole Town now have a link with a French side, that will be beneficial to both clubs. Is a return in France next summer on the cards?

It was a great game with Poole town winning 2-0 after Cherbourg started brightly having a couple of good chances our keeper made two good saves, Poole controlled the second half and scored two and should have possibly had one or two more we gave 3 x 16 year olds debuts and a couple of the Trialists impressed too,, we have been invited over there next year so we are hopeful this will be a growing relationship , big thanks to paul who organised this with help from the rest of the reserve team an all round great day for the club

Great game of football. There were some very promising players in the Poole team those that started and those that came on during the game. The second half was all Poole. Great saves from the Keeper in the first half. The match was played in good spirit.
I am very please that there is an invitation to play next year in Cherbourg. A good relationship is building between AS Cherbourg FC and Poole Town FC. being that Poole and Cherbourg are Twin towns.
Thanks to all for making the arrangements for this match to take place.

Just back from a two week break - great news to come back to— wish I had been able to be there.
All credit to Danny Paul John and everyone else responsible for making this game happen which clearly reflected well on the Club.
