Thanks to all those who have signed up for season tickets. Don't forget the deadline for payment to qualify for the early bird discount is end of July. If you are happy to pay directly into the Bank (that is always my preferred option ) then you can contact me and I will pass the details. If you are intending to pay by cash or cheque then you can deliver FAO Chris Reeves at Jacobs and Reeves.
If neither of these options suit then you could bring to one of the two home games in July - but we will be very busy ( with 685 tickets already sold online for the Chelsea game) so if you could put cash or cheques in an envelope clearly labelled and deliver to me, Rob or whoever is manning the shop it will really help me.

Hi Pippa,
Any idea when the season tickets will be available to pick up, especially now noting that paid up season ticket holders will be able to attend the Yeovil 'friendly' for free on the 27th July...
Kind regards

We are waiting for final confirmation from the league regarding the logos that must be displayed on the Season Tickets and match day tickets, so unfortunately we are unlikely to have them in time for the Yeovil game but hopefully by the first home game against Tiverton. We will ensure that all paid up season ticket holders will be on a list at each turnstile so that you can come in until the season tickets are ready.

Over in the Isthmian League they have decided not to have any pitch boards or anything in the clubs' matchday programmes and are also not going to allow the sponsor to have its logo on any U18 competitions it runs. Maybe we should follow suit & ensure no Bet Victor logos appear on any of the season tickets for those U18. As it would be promoting something which for them is illegal. As encouraging someone else to do something illegal is also against the law, I believe.

If I were Victor Chandler I would withdraw sponsorship and put my money elsewhere where it might be more appreciated. Any Snowflake who thinks that looking at a bookmakers logo will soil the minds of youngsters reared on a diet of looking at all sorts of trash online should get out more often.

We are now at 73 season tickets sold - and the majority have already paid. There is still time to secure your early bird ticket as long as you are paid fully before the end of July.
Anyone who has ordered and paid for their ticket before Saturday will be able to get in to the game for free.
The season tickets should be available for our first home League Game ( Tuesday 13th August ) against Tiverton.

DEADLINE DAY for payment of season tickets at early bird prices.
We have received payment for 81 season tickets at the early bird price so far. This is a record number in recent years [ since I have been involved ] which I think this reflects the positive atmosphere around the club at the moment.
You can pay by the end of today to still qualify for Early Bird prices, and can still of course sign up for a season ticket after today but the prices will revert to the standard price.

The Season tickets will now be available on Saturday not for tonight's game.
However everybody who has paid, will be able to access the game today as confirmed earlier, just mention your name to the turnstile operator ( it is in Alphabetical order of surname!) and you will be given entry.

Pippa Can you advise, are season tickets transferable please ? Thanks Cliff Cliff, Sorry no they are not transferable. I did refer this to Chris, who confirmed that since there is a constant need to generate revenue to keep the club afloat, the transfer of a season ticket is not something that we could allow. Pippa

Pippa A disappointing but not surprising response which forced me to seek professional advice.
Interestingly although the issue of season tickets appears to have been your responsibility you had to refer the matter to Chris Reeves, who in turn has responded with a viewpoint rather than reference to “Terms and Conditions of Sale”.
When discussing this matter I was able to confirm that I/we did not receive any “Terms and Conditions” but could not confirm or deny existence of same.
Just to be absolutely clear, we are not looking for financial recompense of any kind, merely as we have no intention whatsoever of attending future games we would like to pass on our season tickets to two other people to make use of.
I am therefore advised to suggest to you, with the greatest respect, to kindly think again.
Regards
Cliff & Kathy

Cliff, Is there no way you can do this in a more private way? It's obviously disappointing for all concerned that you no longer want to support the club and you seem quite upset, but using the forum (in more than one thread) makes it a very public show of leaving, almost as if you want to draw attention to yourself. I'm sure this isn't the case so might I suggest that you contact the club by e-mail or Pippa by private message on the forum? All the best for whatever you decide to do in the future but I'm sure I speak for all Dolphins fans when I say that we would prefer to see you at Tatnam. WD P.S. As an aside I did just find this online which suggests that when you buy a season ticket you are "required to accept the terms and conditions of sale." Not sure what the legal point of view is regarding not reading them before you accept. www.inbrief.co.uk/football-law/football-season-tickets-unfair-terms-consumer-contracts/
