Great Twitter feed today. Thanks. But can we hang on (for once) to a half-time advantage? Now PT 1 Salisbury 2 so far the answer is NO

Credit to the lads for battling right to the end today, I know petts is coming to the end of his career but still don’t understand why we let him go.

Firstly, well done lads on showing the character to get a point. The downside is the injuries and TK constantly showing ill discipline.

I guess we need to give credit to the team today as at 1-2 we could have lost our discpline and like Boxing day come away with a hammering but instead deserved the point putting in a much improved display against a good young Salisbury side.Om a different subject i could not understand TK comments prior to Xmas regarding trimming the first team playing squad down after the xmas;new year games. We just have to look at our long list of injuries having lost Marv Devs and Whisken to injuries plus with Petts and Charlie Davies leaving the club surely we need all what we have left to step up!!!!.If its the case that TK got sent off again and with Boxing Days sending off he must have set a new unwanted record as a manager in Senior Football.Remember my old boss Terry Brown saying to me Disipline starts on the touch line.So please TK we know its b...y hard being a manager at this level but sorry sir you must start to show more discipline!!!!

Tbf too Tommy today was passion plus the obvious over celebration of claridge too going unnoticed for going out of his area into ours? And Wednesday it was Hubbard having a go at linesman. But I understand Tommy should have been more professional and not retaliated. On the whole tho considering key players were injured or got injured. I thought we battled admirably and got a bit of luck we deserved. But we need an emergency defender on loan we’re looking very light in that department. Quite ironic really we sign defender Brennan Camp and tell him he’s surplus to requirements and now we are thread bare at the back.

Ironically Brennan made his first full start for Dorchester today (after coming on for 20mins on Boxing Day) and was awarded Motm! Did they tell him he was surplus to requirements? I’ve not seen anything released by the club to explain his departure. Only info came on the Dorch website to say they had signed him! www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10156413560491359&id=10733526358

Tough game today, and probably didn't deserve the draw, but what was apparent was that the team didn't give up, even when time was virtually up. Dug deep and found something. Two key injuries really didnt help, fingers crossed they aren't long term.

Would intresting to hear the clubs view on the young Afc Bournemouth central defender whom alparently was surplus to requirdments.Im sorry Bod and management team but i think you seem to have got things terrible wrong at this moment in time.Ive said this a dozen or so times on this forum we can all be managers and we can all have our own views but i believe Sam House should have been brought on sooner and maye just maybe we have found that Lindsay is the ideal centre back partner with Spetch. And maybe he just might get that chance through injuries if its going to be the case.We have got to be looking towards the futher as if we dont we will carry on losing our young up and coming players too our local rivals.COYD

A vast improvement on commitment and energy levels from the players yesterday earnt us a point. It helped to compensate for what we lacked in attacking ideas and midfield inventiveness. In my opinion, there can be no criticism of any of our players they all gave 100%. This said, whilst we continue to try and play over the opponents defensive lines for our front men to run on to, thereby, most of the time giving the ball away, we will struggle to score against the better organised teams in the league. It worked for both of our goals against Salisbury and I don't dismiss it as an option, but we also need to adopt the ability to play through opponents, rather than just punting it up over the top. Whether Tommy feels we do not have sufficiently skilled players to achieve this, or just feels the direct ball is the only way of play, only he can say. It is frustrating to both players and fans to see the ball repeatedly given away. Fluent, quick and decisive close range passing is not only very effective but also exciting to watch. We do have some very skilful players in our squad, capable of playing this way, so why not occasionally, give it a try. As for T.K.'s "sending off", hopefully, least said soonest mended, but the reasons behind it cannot be ignored

I’ve watched Brennan every week since he was 12yo and he is the second best centre back I have ever seen at Academy level. He is a serious class act and has a very bright future in the game. His timing for tackles is unbelievable and his ability on the ball, for a defender, is superb. I have always said that of all the talent AfcB have at this level, this kid will go the furthest! While I wouldn’t expect him to come straight into the first team at Poole Town and he obviously lacks experience of men’s football, hence his loan deal with the Dolphins, I was bitterly disappointed he wasn’t used in a single league game. Nice to see Dorchester Town appreciate what they have and I’m sure Brennan will go on to be a crowd favourite for the rest of the season. Btw, I said at the beginning that he was the second best I had ever seen. The best? Ethan Ampadu who came through the Exeter City Academy and was wanted by every single top six club, signed for Chelsea and is already a full Welsh international at the age of 18! Regards - Stato
