I am so proud of what Gary ad Callum have achieved this season. So ably and enthusiastically backed by Nick Spetch from the BOD and with the vision and initiative of Annetta Minnard at Oakmead the Academy has been a great success.First year behind us and hopefully only ever now going on to bigger and better achievements.Life changing for the youngsters involved.

How proud am I tonight ? Gary, Callum & Mark have worked so hard to create a competitive young team in one of the highest level U18 leagues in the country. Tonight we beat a very strong Dorchester side even without Sam Carter & Billy Lowes who were both sadly injured. The team have come so far and the guys have crafted a team that shows real promise for the future of the 1st team. Don't be surprised if you see more of these youngsters making it into Semi-professional football with Poole Town FC over the next 2 years.

having been "just" a poole town fan from the stadium days, then having a lad who played for poole town youth teams from u13 to u18, it's been a real pleasure for me just watching all that's happened in the last year or so. I've seen poole town become a team and a club that kids want to come to, and the academy team has gone from a relatively weak position at the start of the season, to a very strong outfit in the course of a season, mainly thru competition for places, but mainly attracting and most importantly retaining young talent, and creating a whole new generation who are both proud to represent poole town fc. many thanks to all those who make things happen.
