Our talented u18 team comfortably went through to the Dorset county u18 youth cup final this afternoon beating Bournemouth 3-0 two goals from Sam Bayston ( one a self earned pen) gave them a 2-0 HT lead and a well taken third goal by Oscar Tilly early in the second half completed the scoring. These lads are the future of our club, when they play the final date TBC it is hoped the PT Loyal will turn out in force to support them against the winners of the other semi final Westlands or Muscliffe, this team the majority who have played together Since the u11 league, winning 4 county cups, 5 leagues and one RU position really have done this club proud over the years, they are also on line to win their league this year, although they need to win the last 4 league games to do this. well done to all concerned.

A good solid performance this afternoon by all the lads. Congratulations to Scott and I believe it is Muscliffe in the final.

I'm guessing that the final will be at the County Ground.

This is a great result.Make no mistake-this is a talented side.Am only sorry that family commitments made it impossible for me to be there. Good to see Sam Bayston continuing his good form-he really is one to watch for the future and may be not too far ahead either!

My first post on the forum and after deciding to go at watch the under 18s semi final, I can't disagree with any comments made. The boys played really well but the young lad bayston really did stand out. Great movement and touch. He looked head and shoulders above the others. His introduction to men's football does show!
When will the final be played?
