I know it's not going to happen, and I HOPE Branksome Rec goes through for us.
But, don't you think this would be a good place to have a ground? Of course, it might have been discussed before, I am relatively new to the forum.
It's the large piece of land by Sterte Avenue West and Sterte Road. I am on google map and it is easily big enough to hold a football ground. It's very close to Tatnam and Poole Stadium.
Would be ideal as it's near the train station, and city centre. Keeping close to PTFC links.
Just an opinion, what messageboards are for!

Well afcb it's always good to have an alternative. That particular area is earmarked already for a development that will stretch from where the metal structure has been started right upto the station.

Also, the water table around there is high. Would be a nightmare for drainage, etc. And trust me there is not exactly a lot of parking.

I know Branksome is probably part of Poole, but i for one would like the new ground actually in Poole, not 4 miles up the road, but then again money is the bee all and end all with Poole Council and any spare land in and around the centre of Poole i guess is ear marked for flats for people to buy their second homes eh!!

Just a sad situation. I notice that none of the developments have sold out in the Town or Holes Bay areas.
