RONALDO REVEALS REAL DESIRE Ronaldo - wants to play for Real Madrid. Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed he "wants to play for Real Madrid" -, according to respected Brazilian website Terra - and has vowed not to discuss the subject further until after Euro 2008.
Terra claim to have carried out an exclusive interview with the Portugal international in which he said: "I would like to play for Real Madrid but only if it is true they are ready to pay what Manchester United ask of them.

I read in the press (so it MUST be true!) that Ronaldo's transfer fee is to be £78 million! And his wages (if you can call them that!) will be £222,000 per week!!!! That is - IN ONE WEEK - about the same as an average worker would earn in 8 years!!! This is now well beyond a joke and, in the end, risks, killing the professional game!

I'm no longer interested in these overpaid prancing martinets! Could you imagine them coming up against the likes of Tommy Smith, John McGrath, Terry Hurlock, "chopper" Harris etc
