What happened to Leslie-Smith at Weymouth?. Haven't seen his name mentioned in their line up recently.

One can only hope for a good season. In the old days a retained list of players would be issued by the club.

If the promotion format is the same as this season,(does anyone know?) winning the league won't guarantee promotion as the winners will have to play off against the winners of another section of the league to get promoted. They could get promoted finishing as low as 5th winning promotion through the play offs even though the league champions could be 20 points better off. This needs to be rectified any team that wins its league deserves the chance of automatic promotion.

? Taunton won the league and were promoted. Farnborough were then promoted via the play-offs. Don't think there has been a season when the league winners didn't go up - the 2018/19 season the league winners were still promoted, it was just the play-off final winners (Met Police) who had to play a one-off 'super play-off'.

Jack is correct, all League winners at this level now get promoted. 1 each from SLP South Premier and Isthmian League Premier into NL South and same up North (from SLP North Premier and Northern Premier).
All 4 play-off winners from each division also get a place to make 4 teams up and down as 4 get relegated. The "Super-Playoffs" were only ever a short-term fix during League restructuring.

Thank you Jack for the information on promotion and play offs in the Southern league. It's good to know that all league champions are automatically promoted. Thanks for clarifying this issue.

North Leigh we’re actually promoted from Central one. So we have 5 promoted sides and no sideways or relegated sides in our division. As you say subject to appeals.

Looks like our division will now be one team short next season unless the FA reprieve a relegated side or promote a play off loser.
