The Results of the Play off Semi Finals last night was Hayes and Yeading 2 and Weston Super Mare 1. The other match was a win for Farnborough v Met Police 2-1 in extra time. Met Police scored in the 2nd half in the 85 min and then Farnborough levelled it in the last minutes of normal time.
In extra time Farnborough scored and that was that 2-1 to Farnborough. The final is between them and Hayes and Yeading for promotion.

The playoffs in division one finished... Central AFC Dunstable 0 Ware 0. Ware won 4-3 on penalties. Berkhamsted 1 North Leigh 1
South Cirencester Town 1 Winchester City 4 Frome Town 1 Bristol Manor Farm 3 Glad it won't be Frome! So the two finals are:- Central..Ware v North Leigh South.... Winchester City v Bristol Manor Farm. Don't know the dates. But some of you might like to go to Winchester as the feature few players formally of Tatnam Parish.
Doubt the winners of central will be in Premier South next season. However the winners of South definitely will be.
The other playoffs to note are Isthmian League Division One South Central. The semi finals take place tonight & are:- Chertsey Town v Basingstoke Town Bedfont Sports v Hanwell Town The eventual winner of the final will almost certainly be joining us next season. The winners of this League, Bracknell Town will also be amongst our opponents next season as well.
Of course this means we will still be one team short. So then we will be reliant on the FA's League Management Committee working out the best fit across the 4 Step 3 Leagues & transfering one from? And we all know their great knowledge of geography?!

Yes bank holiday Monday for all the finals. See Taunton Town have said they can't field a side for the Southern League Championship match at Banbury United. So it has been postponed. Bet if it was in Somerset they could have. Hope the Southern League, National League & FA throw the book at them, for failing to fulfill a fixture.

It actually was 4-1 Dave!, also the league you have suggested is just your own thoughts, not fact yet, and although geographically it makes sense it most certainly is not how the FA always decide, be better to wait till all decisions and appeals are made at an appropriate level rather than guess work I suggest? ( it may well turnout to be correct)

( it may well turnout to be correct) Indeed Rob. Based on a couple of websites I look at, at this time of the season. Already since I posted this, it looks, like Chesham United & King's Langley will be moved to Southern League Premier Central. We will gain Bognor Regis Town & Corinthian Casuals in their place. As you said only my projection. But whatever the FA come up with the appeals will be made. So it may be late May or early June before we know the actual make up. But we definitely have two trips to the fine city of Plymouth. Although not something the crockles get to see!

SLPS Play off final HT: Hayes 1 - Farnborough 1 Full Time: Hayes 1 - Farnborough 2 Congratulations to Farnborough.... Its a funny old game isn't it? At the start of the season it looked as if nothing could stop H and Y as they got of to a finaccially fueled super start. Farnborough have been in the National League previous to this, not sure if it was in the top echelon. COYD in season 20212/23!!

Hayes ran out of puff in the end and if you look at the results we're not the same team as at the Start of the season even though they finished second. Farnborough on the other hand seemed to gain some form at the right time of the season...
Indeed Expat COYD 22/23!!!!
