It seems that the Club cannot retain players all that were playing in the 1st team, now Luke has departed (if its true?) and Devs has returned to Hamworthy. Before this players going to Wimborne and Salisbury and also more recently Sam going back to Bashley! A sad situation. What is the problem?

Well we never did find out what Tom was referring to with the ‘off field problems’ the other week that were a massive distraction and affected the team morale in his words, maybe that’s a reason why players are wanting to leave?
I have also just read in disbelief, Andy Rossiters words in today’s Echo, in my opinion telling the players that they have 10 games to play for their Poole Town future and stating that he would only keep 3 of them for next season is not going to motivate them by saying they all aren’t good enough but also is absolutely not for him to say. It’s for the manager to make that call!!
For me that is majorly stepping on Tommy’s toes and once you get board members trying to decide who’s good enough for the team and calling them out in the press then it’s a recipe for disaster.

I refer to my previous posting of the 2nd Feb and Rob the Shirt's response:-
Nothing new here. Not the first time we've seen players being forced out because they were not members of the T.K. fan club. Dare to challenge certain aspects of the management and out you go. There has been an air of despondency among supporters and players for sometime now. Too many declarations of promising improvement from within the club have failed to reach fruition leading to skepticism and frustration for fans both new and old. Patience is running out. Fans are in desperate need of reliable, truthful information about the clubs future and what is going on. We don't deserve to be kept in the dark any longer. Tell us, whilst we still care to listen.
RoS replied:- Nothing new here either. Just another load of trollicks by the perpetual whinger. His total lack of knowledge of the players feelings is shown by his statement about Jacko. A lovely young player who we are all sad to lose but who would never, ever challenge Tommy's authority. He just wants more game time and is prepared to move on for it. You want to see despondency in the players? Well unlike Grandad, you only have to come into the bar after the game to see just how 'despondent' they really are. Laughable. Despondency amongst the supporters? Not surprising if you have to sit next to that whinger every game.
So moving on to the current state of play and if my comments were trollicks Rob, then you must be living in cloud cuckoo land. Yet another "regular" 1st team member leaves. In Burby's case even the blind can't claim he's looking for more game time or to enhance his career. More money? I hope not surely we can't be skint!!! With the very limited amount of information the grass roots supporters are being given by the club and with what we hear and see at games it all points to one direction and that is the dugout. Friction between players and again players and management is clear to see. Rob, if you are right and there is no despondency amongst the players, there bloody well ought to be the way the way things are going both on and off the pitch.

Trouble is Rob, everything grandad has said is true, most of our fans are not happy and wont be until TK and CR are gone, its just gone stale and toxic and i know for a fact that some of the players have had enough as you can see in the last 30 minutes of every game. I think rob that you think you are the captain of a sinking ship and has no choice to ignore the truth and jump ship

Regardless of what you think of the club, on and off the pitch, I think that it is a bit disingenuous of Michael 222 to suggest that Chris Reeves should depart. When we were at our lowest ebb he backed up the club with his time and own money and without his input, and that of a handful of others, the club would probably not now exist.

Entirely agree with you Scorpio regarding C.R's fantastic commitment to the club, both monetary and time, over many many years. It would be a very black day for the Dolphins if, for whatever reason, we lost him. He is honorable and extremely loyal to those around him and unfortunately, that cannot make the clubs current situation any easier for him to deal with. He has some difficult decisions to make if the club is to progress, but, in my honest opinion, standing down is not one of them.

A great servant to the club over two spells his best days were before this season when he has looked a shadow of previous seasons : If there are other players who are not putting it In week in week out then Tommy should move them on: Agree with other contributors on the forum we are fast approaching a Crossroads; Next season let’s also STOP being a nursery ground for Junior AFC and others who come in just to bolster the squad numbers ; Let’s get half a dozen experienced hard nosed semi pros in to add to the squad players Mr Rossiter and Tommy want to keep and have a good go at Promotion from the off
