You may have seen my post on the website and Jack's subsequent posting in the Echo - the venue for the Final of the Dorset Senior Cup was decided by coin toss at a Meeting of the Board of the Dorset County FA on THursday 3rd Feb.
The coin fell in favour of Hamworthy therefore the Dorset Senior Challenge Cup Final will take place at the Sunseeker International County Ground on Tuesday 1 March 2022.
We will update on admission prices nearer to the date.

Can I ask why it would have been a coin toss to the grounds of the sides playing when Dorchester and Wimborne would be perfectly good venues for a cup final, and dorch has held them previously for years in the past Surely a cup final has to be neutral

As for Wimborne it will be under lights but it could also be under water! Coin toss, fine by me. Had we won it , we would have benefited from an extra nights bar takings. But we didn't & so we go across to the dark side on St. David's Day 🏴. And it is also Pancake Day!

Is this definitely March 1st? fixtures on main site have it listed as March 2nd. Thanks for spotting that - I added the news item but didn't update the fixtures. Just done that now. Wednesday 2nd there is (due to be) an U23 Cup game - away at Totton and Eling. Another good game to watch will be on Sunday 6th March when the U18 team play in a League Cup Semi Final at the Black Gold - Kick off 2 PM. We'll be putting more information up shortly but we expect the bar to be open and we are sure the U18s would be thrilled if some regular Poole Town Supporters were there to cheer them on.

Looking at the league positions of Weymouth, Dorchester and Wimborne, Dorset football appears to be in the doldrums. Let's hope that Hamworthy can keep the flag flying in the Vase.
