Please note that the Dorset Senior Cup Game which we have advertised as being on Tuesday 7th is actually going ahead on Wednesday 8th at 7:30. Apologies for the error in initially advising the date.

Are the U23s still playing at Tatnam at the same time as I thought some would be involved?!

Hi it is a 7:45pm kick off after a little bit of confusion. We look forward to welcoming you to Raleigh Grove.
Above is a reply to a tweet I sent them. Seems it is a 7:45pm kick off after all. Unless of course it changes tomorrow. If a draw at 90 minutes, does it go straight to penalties or is there extra time first?

One thing we do know however is that Dorset Senior Cup Quarter Final games are scheduled as 90 minutes, PLUS extra time if needed PLUS penalties if needed. Sorry I can't be there tomorrow but looking forward to seeing the updates.

I will be in Sherborne long before 7:30pm. Due to another 4 bus journey! Looking forward to my first visit to the Zebras.
Elsewhere, tonight the only QF still on, is over the bridges, at Hamworthy United. The other two have fallen foul of the weather & will be played whenever.

The 'formal' communication method is usually secretary to secretary. Their secretary has confirmed to our secretary that the Kick off is at 7.30. Their website also states ( and continues to state) that the kick off is 7.30.
I know their twitter feed says it is 7.45 and continues to reply to any queries that it is 7.45 - but as they replied to you on their last post - do feel free to get there a little earlier as the bar will be open.
If I were going - I would aim to get there anticipating a 7.30 Kick off. If it doesn't kick off until 7.45 then you've got 15 minutes more to buy a coffee and burger.
Sorry we can't be any more clear than that........

How will you get home? It is possible to get from Poole to Sherborne on the train but with changes at Southampton Central and Salisbury, a Super Saver fare of about £34, a 2 to 3 hour journey each way and (assuming a 7.30 KO and no overtime) a quick one mile dash from the ground to the station for the 21.35 train back to Poole - getting into Poole some time after midnight. What fun! Better stick with the buses Dave. Meanwhile, with all your travelling and your attendance record, you must be a very strong contender for Supporter of the Season or Seasons!

Actually not doing the for bus thing, as had other things to do today. So will be getting 16:14 train to Dorchester South for the 17:35 X11 to Sherborne. As for getting back have been offered a lift from some who is also attending. Suggest others should be acknowledged as Supporter Of The Season ahead of me. Some have been around decades.
