I was just wondering about the state of play at Poole Town regarding signings for this season only I have been watching the southern news and Taunton Truro and Salisbury are signing lots of players up to date I have only noticed that Poole have signed 2 players I’ve Tony Lee and the goalkeeper from last year. Is there any chance that Jack Dickson or Josh Leslie Smith coming back as I see they have not participated in many Weymouth games? Do we have many players signed on?.

Salisbury and Taunton both have deeper pockets than Poole and its easy to sign some players when your wallet is full. Until we have a stable base where we can generate money all week long , we will struggle to compete for some players.
It is a credit to Tommy that he does so well, when many teams have much more spending power.

As well as all the clubs from last season, Kings Langley have been switched from Southern Premier Central in to our league. It means Southern Premier South will have its full complement of 22 clubs & it will be Central will run one short with just 21. southern-football-league.co.uk/News/128126/League-Agree-to-Kings-Langley-SwitchLet's hope things are back to some sort of normal & fans are once again allowed on the club coach. Kings Langley have been moved from the Central league to ours, meaning we now have 22 teams in our league

don't even get me started on Weymouth!!
I salute those who have kept the club alive BUT reading the same gloomy tidings each year about why other clubs can sign xyz players because we cannot afford to gets wearing!! When are things going to improve for us financially? John says when our facilities improve
When are things going to improve for us regarding our facilities? The Q hanging like the Sword of Damocles over the Club.
....,...and we fans still do not get a glimmer at the end of the tunnel!

I’ve seen JD has been released and was turning up for Abbey on a Sunday along with Corby ,Burbs and Mickey.
Also Baggie has been released from Eastleigh and Ngalo has been released from the muff who I believed we were close too signing before he went too Weymouth.
I hope JD comes home. Ngalo would be an excellent addition too.

There is every reason to have confidence in the ability of a lot of our youngsters. I only wish I had the same confidence in the clubs ability to keep them as they develop. In the last few seasons we have seen too many of our better players become unhappy with the uncertainty and lack of development at the club so have sought to progress elsewhere. Until we can provide some enticement to tempt these type of players to stay (not necessarily financial) building a strong squad of players will remain extremely difficult.

just read the write up on The Pirates. "Our" Stand has lasted pretty well hasn't it?
My Dad.who was a real Victorian used to tell of a church organisation called "The Band of Hope"
Perhaps a few die hards could raise that flag in a corner of Tatnam!!
Being a Poole Town Fan can make you a bit religious can't it!!
It's NEVER been easy! and I seriously believe that the Fans are getting to a breaking point.
