To the BOD. Is there going to be a "socially distanced" meeting of matchday staff to keep us all up to speed with the rules & regulations that we have to adhere to this season.

Apparently the Isthmian, Northern Premier & Southern Leagues have a new sponsor. They are called Pitching In. No never heard of them either. But welcome to them. More details to be announced from tomorrow. Also collectively these leagues are known as The Trident Leagues. Again who knew, until a few moments ago certainly not me. 🤔😉

When football returns will the clubhouse be opening due to the two meters distancing rule According to the NLP every Step 3 club can apply for a grant of £10,000 thanks to a donation of £5 million from the Premier League for Steps 1 to 6. Step 1 can get a max of £20,000 down to a maximum of £2,000 for Step 6. Clubs have until 5pm on Wednesday 16th September to apply. Looks like the are trying to lose the league of greed nickname. Thanks to them for this welcome gesture.

I'm not saying don't touch it but the 'League of Greed' will have to do a lot more than dole out a bit of its loose change before it convinces me of its altruism Dave.

I agree but they have made a start. So let's thank them & hopefully it will mean they start to do more in the future. Not necessarily just money, but maybe letting local non-league clubs train at the big boys training ground occasionally. Or like Chelsea did a few seasons back use non league grounds near their opponents when away from home.

So,with the breaking news this morning that from monday(14th)the government are enforcing a legal limit on social gatherings of a max of 6 people,will it affect allowing fans into games? I quote" weddings funerals & TEAM SPORTS will be exempt BUT MUST LIMIT NUMBERS TO 30 PEOPLE"!

I quote" weddings funerals & TEAM SPORTS will be exempt BUT MUST LIMIT NUMBERS TO 30 PEOPLE"! Isn’t this reducing Number allowed to attend social gatherings from 30 to 6? Rules on supporters in stadiums was not restricting to 30 so I don’t believe the two were linked. The comment about team sports is surely about the players rather than fans. But then again - who knows! No doubt there will be clarification from the FA.

"....the government is reviewing its plan to allow spectators back into sports stadiums from October 1st" www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-54093465I assume that applies to higher leagues but there is no mention of what their plans are for our levels and if they'll now stop fans attending.

I’ve copy & pasted for those who don’t know where to look - hope it sets some minds at rest;
Confirmed earlier from the DCMS;
🔹Outdoor football is permitted to continue as before.
🔹Step 3 and below can continue to have spectators at the current levels.
Effectively non-league Steps 3-6 can continue as before.
The FA will meet with leagues at Step 3 & 4 on Friday and Step 5 & 6 on Monday evening.
This is to discuss ‘other implications for clubs of this announcement... for example Test & Trace and Groups of 6’.

Places I have been to are using QR codes. Or pen & paper for those without the technology. Don't know how much it costs but seems a safe, secure & traceable way forward to me.

As always, the effectiveness of any system depends entirely on those operating it. You could have all the whizz bang systems and processes in the world lined up but if they’re aren’t utilised correctly, or completely, the results will be ineffective and worthless.
Enforcement is the key - 100% compliance should be the requirement, not the goal.

As my old Staff Sergeant used to say "keep the pressure on the violators" In today's world of 10000 reasons why " me and mine are the most important people in the world and should NOT have to do our bit for society". Good luck! Anyway tbtv hope to see a few PTFC matches from you coming up. Always impressed with the quality.
