Sad to see “Sea view coaches” have gone into administration they have been good supporters of the club over the years

😢 sad news Rob. Also see the clothing store Animal have called it a day. Hope not to many more of the smaller businesses in Poole go the same way. Including ourselves of course. Heard various rumours of when football might make a return. October is the most optimistic. No season next season (ie start again 2021-22) the most pessimistic. Whatever, whenever it is will be tough on us. But not as tough as on all those with this awful virus. See you all sooner rather than later. Stay Safe, Stay Home, Stay Alive. ❤️

Shamrock and Rambler and Cosy Coaches are two other old names that spring to mind.

There will be some old hands who remember Minuet coaches out of Hamworthy and even more notorious;there is Bere Regis and District(distinctive Brown colour!1) who ran ancient buses along wimborne Rd going to the delights of Winterborne Zelstone and Morden and Bloxworth My relative aptly named them Bere Regis and Risk It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I should add that such is their fame there is a website describing the Company History

I remember Shamrock and Rambler and The brown Bere Regis and District coaches. Shamrock and Rambler had an orange livery. I have models of both in my collection of buses from places I’ve lived. I don’t have a Cosy Coaches model though. They had a base near where I lived as a boy in Upper Parkstone.

Great days for poole and the Pirates Ken Middleditch (six times holder of the track record at Wimborne Road) was one of my boyhood heroes. Those were the days when smoking was fashionable before we knew about the risks. That'll also tell you how old I am. I could be the oldest living Dolphins fan.

Now Brian, that is a challenge!! I am 75 but I am sure there are older Poole Fans out there. Anybody got a Dad or Uncle or even Ma or Aunty that is a long standing fan of the Town. If they regularly go to a match then they should be recognised. The players are so why not the Fans???
UP THE TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN!!!

What does "regularly" mean expat my friend? Would it disqualify you and me from being the oldest current Dolphins fan (I'm older than you by the way so you can - at best - be second oldest fan)? Or could we qualify because we support PTFC in other ways such as buying season tickets, entering the 100 club, attending when we can, moaning perpetually on the fans forum and so on and so on?
