I know we are in a bad time at the moment with the virus etc, but after speaking to a couple of Poole Town season ticket holders( been supporting the club for over 50 years) they are still wondering what the big announcement in April is? We have 8 days of the month left and still nothing, can anyone enlighten thanks

Perhaps in present circumstances it might be wiser to defer on making announcements until the overall picture on and off the pitch becomes clearer.

The current crisis has created so much uncertainty and put so many issues on hold.
What it is not doing though is diminishing the amount of time spent by the board on Club matters!!
Skype and Zoom meetings abound!
With so many imponderables and so much uncertainty to cope with I would hope that it will be appreciated that public statements on matters of significance are going to be few and far between unless and until those restrictions and uncertainties are lifted.

Just sitting down to watch the MLS Cup Final. Two of Columbus Stars cannot play due to COVID. Seattle's 3rd appearance in 5 years. HH I said somewhere else that the team have given us a great start and optimism for advancement is high, even a Cup Run!! For me it was the sight of Harry sitting in that brand new stand at WTFC that got me to ask the question Cannot the fans, who have dug deep and helped this club survive, particularly in this plague ridden time Be given one glimmer of light at the end of the Tatnam Tunnel What a tonic it would be for all concerned!! We cannot let this great start and "feelgood" feeling dissipate in the gloom of winter postponements at Tatnam
UP THE TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN!!! since about 1954!!

When my granddaughter sees images of Father Christmas (in books or on TV) she believes it is me! If she was right happyhammer, expat and all Dolphins fans would be certain of a big surprise this year and a very Happy Christmas. I hasten to add that my granddaughter is wrong. Thus, I'd be happy, as things look at present, for the season to go on, Poole Town to win the SL Prem and reach Wembley followed by the 'big announcement'. Now that would be my idea of a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
