Yep another Thursday night match to look forward too. We have about 20% of the season left with about 40% of a games to play. Is there a coach going to Blackfield & Langley on Saturday? If so what time is it leaving?

Yes the usual area was deemed too soft for play by a qualified official. No coach to Blackfield Dave.

Yes the usual area was deemed too soft for play by a qualified official. No coach to Blackfield Dave. No worries. Gonna be traveling on a few buses Saturday then, so I can get there for nothing. For others if you are going by train. Engineering works will mean a replacement bus service to Bournemouth. Then if you get a train to Southampton, there are buses that go to Blackfield from there.

No trains in the Bournemouth area at all this weekend I'm afraid! Buses Poole/Bournemouth to Southampton....

How far off is this much vaunted announcement. I said in earlier posts that I would give it until the end of the season. But with all these postponements starting to think it will never end! With in the bounds of not breaking any of these confidentiality agreements can the club & the council put out some sort of joint statement. What is causing the delays? Are the council being honest with us? Or are they just stringing us along? Also is there any way we as supporters could bring pressure to the situation by writing to the council? If so then who. Or should we become more vocal in places like the Echo. One thing is clear Tatnam this season hasn't been fit for purpose. No one's fault of course, as the weather is what it is. Of course next season we might be ok, but then we could have a repeat situation or snow or some other form of inclement weather. So really hope those tasked with finding away at of this quagmire (literal & metaphorical) are using this to point out the desperation of the situation Poole Town are in, to those in power & with the ability to help us find a future ground. After the last decade of on the field success, it is time to match it with the facilities we need to take this club forward. COYD 🐬

Valid question Dave I believe we should all be aware in what's happening with the club and if it means making our point through the local press can surely only be good for the cause!!!

cheapest interim solution?? You know where it is but you WILL NOT ADMIT IT ...and then you wonder why no one takes any notice of us!! Punters that have not been to a game in years would be there en masse

Expat you really need to take more water with your Jack Daniels. Nobody but YOU wants to return to the Stadium so STOP your continual moaning about it. It is really boring coming on this Forum reading about the everlasting Postponments so your diatribe just about kills any interest in the Club off.

I would like to return to the Stadium. With a little bit of foresight and a not significant amount of money spent on it, we would be in a good position to start climbing the ladder (can't remember too many games called off there). A field somewhere within the Borough, would granted, help us to escape the nightmare that Tatnam has become, but would probably not afford us the luxury of a vicinity within walking distance for alot of supporters, adequate parking facilities, and a Clubhouse that might be permitted to stay open on a more regular basis. Would this new ground just be viewed as a sticking plaster. If the local council were serious about helping the club move forward then I reckon that this argument is a no brainer.

In an ideal world, a return to the stadium would be wonderfully romantic. However, in a realistic world, the financial side if it would be unworkable. To restore the stadium for it to be suitable and of the standard required for National league level, would be astronomical. The club just doesn't have those financial resources and there has been no sign of a sugar daddy on the horizon wanting to throw money at us. It's not going to happen.
We've been reassured that there is something in the pipeline, however, for reasons unbeknown to us simple fans, there is a confidentiality issue. This isn't helping allay the fans concerns. We are in a slump, results have been poor, we can't play games at home, we hav become a laughing stock. Yet the silence from the club is deafening. We don't want pie crust assurances that the BOD are doing everything they can anymore. We need evidence. Give us something instead of the empty rhetoric that comes out from time to time.

The picture you paint BD is the club having to accept whatever it is offered, be it something that is passable for maybe Wessex League football, while the local council sits on its hands and chooses to look the other way. I have not read once in the local papers of any councillor nailing his colours to the mast and openly supporting the club. What goes on behind the scenes, I don't know.

Scorpio, I have been to Council Meetings where several oouncillors of the old PBC were keen to go on the record to support the club. Of course financuial support is out of the question especiqally when local authorities have been so starved of money by central government.Of course we have yet to learn how BPC will react to our plight.

Reading between the lines that John has written it seems to me that all this talk about confidentially with another party that has been talked about is obviously not with the council becouse it seems by the sounds of things they are not remotely intrested in the football club so please please give us something that we supporters can at least be a little optimistic about!!!. The club is not a private members club so please BoD please speak up!!!

The confidentiality commitment comes from a three way agreement between us the Council and Developers. The Council are being very supportive. The discussions are substantial and complex. That is fact and it is not a case of us not informing supporters it is just how it is. There are further critical meetings lined up and there is huge activity. If I am not believed then so be it but that is the truth of the matter and I just cannot elaborate further at present.Believe me I am very keen to go public!!!!!!
