1.30 pmThe pitch has passed the inspection and the inspecting referee has liaised with the match referee, following that contact, the game has been declared on.
6.45 pm Sadly the elements have beaten us again and the referee has called the game off. Our sympathies go out to both sets of supporters and the Hendon players and officials.
The pitch was in a similar condition to the Swindon Dupermarine game when the Swindon Manager said it was a great pitch for football. As with last week, the Match Officials disagreed.

Nah was ok until about 6pm. Then down came the rain! No it is a farce. We all saw the forecast and yet the club roll the dice again. This is happening time and time again and the patience of fans who wasted time and funds travelling tonight was wasted. Not good. The club has such a poor reputation now its heartbreaking. Moving on, what players would want to sign for a club that act like this?

At least the late postponements mean people are in the bar spending money. Last week they got free burgers as they had already been cooked.

When the match official looked at the pitch and I'm sure with guidance from our groundsman a selection of sinareo should have been taken into consideration being how much more rain would be needed to make the pitch unplayable also the up and coming weather forecast and of course our opponents travel distances. To me none of these seem to have been taken in to consideration as We all had seen that the weather was going to take a turn for the worse and regardles of a 1.30 inspection it was always going to come too the game being called off. The pitch needs several days of total dry weather to be able too be played on and I sense that's a long way off!!!.

The point is that the pitch was in the same condition as when we played Swindon and when we did not play Salisbury (we all know why that was postponed). England tweeted a video of England Spain when Lineker scored a four.

England tweeted a video of England Spain when Lineker scored a four. Come on John.... The point is we all knew rain was forecast and the pitch must of been borderline this morning so a 1.30 pitch inspection was a ridiculous time, just driving past the ground you can see all the standing water at the side of the ground. The club arent doing itself any favours with the fans, other clubs and opposing fans or even the league. Posting a video from the 1980s is hardly helping or even blaming claridge for the last shambles, its the ref who calls games off, you may aswell post muddy pitches from the 1960s and 70s. I totally feel for the chairman and board as i know they want games on

Scoring four goals for England doesn't compare with pocketing £1.8 million a year from the BBC.

As mentioned John regardless of the state of the pitch v Swindon with the amount of rain due this afternoon which was well publicised from first light this morning the official and BoD should have at 1.30 called the game off. The pitch as mentioned will continue to flood on that side until we get several days of dry weather. Sorry to sound like a long playing record but that is the case!!!. COYD

If your referring to the state of the pitch in the clip, I'm afraid you really are clutching at straws, bordering embarrassing, that was well over 30 years ago, times have changed, the game has changed. It doesn't change the fact that we have now become a laughing stock locally and in the league we are in. Game on, no the game is off, no it's the refs fault, it's the ref who did the pre inspections fault, no it's the opposition managers fault! NO NO NO! Stop this farce! The club have known about this issue for years. YEARS! And yet we still, year after year after year after year talk about this. I am sick of the damn talking , I'm sick of the same cr@p coming out every s0dding year. "Oh it's the high tide..." "The council put a new path in and it damaged the drains..." "we've had exceptionally heavy rain in Poole recently...". For gods sake shut up!! I'm sick to death now of it!!! And I swear if I hear theres big news coming soon but we can't say for reasons known only to Lord Jehovah himself, I'll lose the ******* plot !!

Time for transparency and change before the club follows the rain water down the plug hole. The fans deserve better!

These postponements show a total lack of clarity on the part of Club Officals.Vested interests in the desperate attempts to generate Revenue are portraying the Club in a bad light. We are taking liberties with other Clubs players and Officals and our loyal supporters will vote with their feet. Brighter future ahead !!!!! We are a laughing stock at present.

About time Poole invested in make some covers same as cricket. Ps I will not renew season ticket next season. The problem isn’t water falling directly on the pitch, it’s the water rising through the ground when we have prolonged wet weather. You could build a roof over the stadium and you would still have postponements

Slightly delusional Cheeso, you call 3 years short term, god help us So what do you call short term? A club with over 125 years, 3 isn't that much about 2.5% of the total.
