It was the obvious question. Why does the pitch still flood when it rains? We have been told that there is a new pump and yet we have lost so many games. Have lessons not been learnt? Actually they have. The reason we lost so many games last year qwas because of the sheer amunt of rain. October, November and Decem, ber were the wettest three months of the whole decade. Each month was more than twice as wet as any month in any previous season except for December 2018 (4th most rainfall). So the miracle is that we got the match against Taunton played rather than why we lost so many to the weather.

And yet we suffer more than most. Why is that John? The rain affects everyone, every club every pitch, yet we have more games in hand. How long have we known about this issue with the pitch?

I thought all this started when the council put the concrete path in at fleetsbridge end at bottom of ground,so why not dig the concrete path up. As BD says other teams dont get call offs at the drop of rain, the water is obviously just sitting there, what i dont get is why are other options being considered when they wont work

losing 2-1 at Wimborne today seem to. indicate that we have major problems and not all pitch related!! Only YOU the die hard fans can make something happen. Discouraging is an understatement
