We want people to sing. But without the swearing. So why do think swearing is acceptable at a football match? Or do you think it is ok to swear when ever you want?

Dave swearing is part and parcel of the game always is always has been, and you’re not shy of a few swords either in fact you’re probably one of the worse if truth be known, and on that subject there’s a lot more worse things that can be said at a football match than swearing as you well know!

go on then, ban the very “yoof” that sing from start to finish every game, travel to almost every away game and always support the lads in providing what is by far the best atmosphere in the league away from home, do that and the players will complain the fans are nutse and our support is bad. clueless to think you’re ever gonna kick swearing out of football #PTFC I would suggest you are over reacting. Nobody is suggesting ban 'yoofs' who sing and chant, just sing and chant without the C word! Swearing will be in football forever, don't like it but that is my view.

Yes I do swear at football, but not as much as I used too. Would like to be able to stop myself before I do. Swearing is part of life. But if you use such words all the time they lose their effectiveness. I am to try & use such words less in 2020. Not a resolution, just something I would like to try to do.

And not just the swear words? There was something that stuck in mind once which you said to a referee and that also begins with c but is a far worse word than the c we are referring to! But yes as you say if everyone tries to calm it a bit more then all the better

Although I also remember a player taking offence when I compared him to Troy Deeney. Some people can't take a compliment! Yes I will still use banter. And if the referee isn't up to standard I will live it to TK to use the more colourful language!

Just need to say what a brilliant double minute applause before the Farnborough game sat!!
I felt the need to arrange one for Kevin Hart the Wimborne Head Steward RIP!!!.
And also i know we have had negative comments ref to our supporters language home and away etc. I like to point out that there was NOT ONE foul word used except by Farnboroughs manager to one of his players in the whole game
And the f word used 3 or 4 times by a senior citizen towards the safety officer ( not only the young element that use it!!
I just thought i would mention that as the people who comment on negatives never seem to post positives when things change for the better.
thanks for reading.
coyds!!
