A request has been lodged with the league that if Blackfield and Langley lose at Truro in the Trophy on Tuesday and if Yate lose at Tiverton on Wednesday then as Blackfield will then be without a fixture next week that it would make sense for our postponed home game with them to be rearranged for Saturday. We shall see- watch this space and spread the word.

We need Blackfield to lose Tuesday,Yate to lose Wednesday, the League to agree and for the weather to be ok.
That’s all!!
Could well happen though

Truro 1-1 Blackfield
I suspect that the replay will be on Saturday so that the next round can be played on Tuesday. So no game Saturday.

If B&L win the replay then no match next Tuesday either as the will be playing their next FA Trophy match then. Our away league match at H&YU on Tuesday 19th has gone as they have a county cup match. And after tonight's win our home match against Beaconsfield 3rd December will be moved as we are now at Weymouth in the next round of the DSC.

Can we do what Liverpool have done with their League Cup/World Club Cup games and agree to play 2 games in 2 days?
Send the reserves to play in the DSC or something?

If we did would probably be thrown out & get a large fine to boot. Unlike those in the league of greed, who get a rap over the knuckles & a poultry fine, while those in charge of football look the other way. Not the same in Rugby Union, where everyone is treated equally. As Saracens found out yesterday!

It gets ever more confusing I know but I think it was Hartley Wintney not Hayes and Yeading we are playing on the 19th and as far as I am aware that's still on. It is Hayes and Yeading who cannot make our away fixture on Tuesday 26th - and they have just tweeted that subject to league agreement it will move to Tuesday Jan 21st ( their next available date) As for Blackfield and Langley - I THINK they cannot play on Tuesday whether they win or lost the replay - as they too have another Cup Match ( perhaps the Hampshire Cup) At the moment - our next game is due to be Saturday 16th November at home to Merthyr.
