...but are we a strong side? We certainly come up short in the last three games, I am not a pessimist but can you see this team turning it around and winning all those games in hand?? losing at home to a village team is inexcusable Hartley Wintney 2011 census 4999 Management are not going to do anything unless you supporters ask the hard questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As ever, you ask the pertinent question expat. Are we, indeed? We’ll see soon enough.

There was always a likelihood of an 'after the Lord Mayors show' performance yesterday...no damage done though,as we can now focus on the league.
We obviously go out to win every game but unfortunately we're not liverpool or man city.It just not going to happen !
We haven't suddenly become a bad team overnight because we lost the last 2 games by the odd goal.
Hopefully , the cup disappointment is now out of our system, and we can get back to the free flowing football that we have been playing of late.
We were never going to win the cup but we have a very good chance of winning what is a very open league.
Keep the faith
Up the town

As both ourselves & Beaconsfield are out. Any chance of moving the rearranged game from a Tuesday night in December, to Saturday 9th November, which is currently blank. Thanks.

I've deliberately been trying, recently, to avoid posting my thoughts on here, as I feel it's pointless. However after suffering through the last 3 matches it is blatantly obvious, there is something seriously going wrong within the team. The most obvious thing being the lack of any leadership both on and off the field. Last night was a repeat of the previous 2 matches with no player on the park showing any leadership, or geeing up there teammates, cajoling them into improving their performance, or driving them on. We need a captain who inspires players to do well and can constructively point out when and if they go wrong. Our players last night seemed to lack energy, desire or enthusiasm for the game and yet we hardly heard anything from them, especially not our captain. Contrast that to both our recent cup opponents. They both had captains who took charge on the pitch and vocally encouraged their teammates to do well and keep going. We desperately need someone similar.

I have often disagreed with you Grandad but you are spot on with this. The captain has to both lead and earn his place on merit.
