I’ve been asked by a neighbour to put this on, financial implications aside(probably 100k plus) a home televised game would have been the highlight of the clubs history. Reality is now it may never happen during our lifetimes. Certainly this week won’t ever be forgotten! From Robert and Richard Lucas

An absolute disaster from a revenue and fan support POV and realistically with the backlog growing it is going to be a very hard slog to get the automatic promotion spot

Think the only way will ever reach the nirvana of the FA Cup1st round is, in the FAC4q, drawn to the toughest side in the Southern Section. Then no one will give as a chance. Hey presto, we pull off a shock & go through. Let's hope we don't get too much of fine for any pitch invasion, which might occur!

Why will it never happen in our lifetimes?
Are we now banned from entering the FA Cup because the floodlights kept going out?
Nothing's changed since last Tuesdays game .....we still have a good squad , handily placed in the league, fan base hopefully on the up (spoke to a couple of supporters from Afcb on Tues who are fed up with the 'Premier League Experience ' and will be joining us regularly from now).
Sure , the 1st round would of been a nice bonus ,but it wasn't to be ....get over it !
Keep the faith
Up the town

I think they mean because they are 75 and mid 50s it may not happen in their lifetimes again.they are true fans and it takes a hell of a lot for them to just “get over it”

Irrespective of the financial implications, and I agree they are big, this was two games of football and we did not do enough to win over the two games. We can be sad or upset that we did not make it through but it's football. I will be 68 next month and I am gutted but it won't kill me and it is a sad fact that most teams do nothing, they don't get promoted or relegated, never reach the 4th Qualifying Round of the FA Cup.
I may never see the Dolphin's in the FA Cup 1st Round Proper or in the National League proper but there is no divine right. If anyone is on their last legs, I don't expect they will be worrying about the FA Cup or missing out on approximately £100,000. If they do then they need to get over it.
In Premier League terms its like Man U beating Tottenham (except there would have been no replay), we are in the same league, a league where anyone can beat anyone on a particular day.

The winner of the tie will be away to Westfield. They are based in the Woking area & play in Isthmian 1 South Central. The same league as Tooting & Mitcham. They are currently 4th & put out another club from our league on Saturday, in Beaconsfield Town.

That’s the fa trophy Dave, the post was regarding the fa cup See last nights result!! Went to my first live match for years on Saturday Canadian Premier League Final Leg 1 (CPL is probably league 2 or NL Standard) Hamilton Forge 1 Calgary Cavalry 0 10,400 on hand and a great atmosphere both teams down to 10 men at the final whistle Scouting report. Christopher Nenja A real skilled crowd pleaser AND with a tremendous work rate! Tonight its MLS Semi Final Atlanta vs Toronto crowd of 70,000 expected, toronto were a very long shot but have excelled ion the playoffs,
