With respect i appreciate this forum is independent from the club and clubs official website but is there any chance we supporters can have more news regards what is happening around and within the club. I go to the main website and for the last week plus all i see as a headline is a number of last season squad have signed on. One thing we all enjoy is keeping up with news coming out of the club in varies media platforms but nothing seems to be happening yes appreciate the comment regards new sponsors but compered to other clubs websites everything seems to be secretive on our s.!!!!!

Security adviser is one V.Putin with an address in Moscow!! I love this club with all my heart. I have walked the perimeter of Dorset to raise money for the club with Phil and Tony, completed a bike ride from Tatnam to Wembley and run from Tatnam to Bashley. The lack of appreciation and transparency to fans other than when funds are needed lead to me leaving the RWA. Hope it gets better guys.

Whoever is in charge of PR and media at the Club, if any, is a joke. Total lack of appreciation and respect for their fans. Why so secretive?

I agree there seems to be a lack of information and true news coming from the Club and a complete lack of transparency.
The Official Website is a joke and completely out of date.
The 'Latest News' page has the news that a number of players have just re signed. Yeovil Town match preview (27 July) Weymouth match preview (23 July) and the Chairmans Blog (18 July) Obviously no new news from the Club with the new season only 2 days away!
'Club Officials' page. This has a list of officials. The President and Chairman have no photographs along with 6 others in the list.
The 'Coaching Staff' page has 6 photos missing. Also on the 'About us' page it lists Richard Gillespie as a Coach but he is not listed on the 'Coaching Staff' page. I have never seen any announcement that Richard has rejoined us bur any how welcome Richard.
First Team statistics' page Lists 16 players plus a Trialist and the 'First Team Players' page list 22 players plus a Trialist
The 'Programmes 2019-19' page lists 7 programmes none recent, then it seems to have run out of steam. This is a very useful and helpful feature which helps to keep people up dated. I hope this will continue for this season.
'Video Highlights' page- No highlights since the 13 November 2018!
'Players Sponsors' Just 5 players sponsored for this season!
The 'Events Calendar' seems up to date
'Useful Links' page No links listed!
'Reserve Players' page depending on what you click it lists 61 players or 42 most without photos
Viewing the Official Website gives a very bad impression of the the Club with conflicting, incomplete and misleading information. No wonder it is difficult to know what is happening in the Football Club and the fans get very frustrated.
The Website is the public face of Poole Town Football Club and it needs to be vastly improved to show that the Club is well organised to bring success.

I sincerely hope that you stick with the club you love and have done so much for ”conferenceorbust”. It wouldn’t be the same without fans like yourself. Whilst it is tempting to sympathise with all the supporters complaining about lack of information and out-of-date sections on the website, I’m reluctant to be too critical of those who voluntarily give time and effort to maintain it. I predict that the management and players will demonstrate the success of the club’s pre-season modesty with a successful start to the league programme beginning at Farnborough on Saturday. See you all there. COYD

Please bear in mind that not only is a lot of the time voluntary (already stated above) but the personnel who run the media side are (I think) mainly University students, so may not be in the area or actively involved with the club yet.
I predict a sharp uptick in the fortunes of all the media channels once the students return properly in September. 👍🎥⚽️

It's been the same for sometime. The fans don't get a say, if you criticise you are looked down on, the club don't like the honesty of its supporters.
Once a club who called itself the best in Dorset (non league), perhaps they need to take a leaf out of the likes of Weymouth and Dorchester who's social media and regular updates is what should be happening within this club.
To much is undisclosed hence why supporters get annoyed and choose to stop supporting the team. Everyone has to be careful what they say or how they express their feelings as certain people don't like it and will soon enough start the banning process.
A club that wants money for this that and the other, they will always take but never show appreciation. I share the opinions of most within this thread.

Hi all,
I see there has been much discussion as to media news on here and I want to say that I am the one who is responsible for the social media posts and have been since January. I have also been working to try and keep the website updated as best as possible in recent months.
However, I can only put up what I am given. Also I work voluntarily for the club and aside from a very very kind donation from pippa, i do not receive any funding. This includes travelling down from Leicester to a lot of fixtures when not at university.
I would personally love to provide more content, stuff from training sessions? Signing reveals? Etc... but stuff like that is beyond my capabilities.
One thing I would like to say is that I owe fans an apology. One of my collegues who has assisted me in my work here almost ensured we could do video highlights and it hasn’t worked out at all. I’ve had at least two people drop out on me and I now cannot promise them. I feel extremely sorry for TBTV who provided us with excellent highlights last year for home games and I personally would fully welcome tony back to the club with open arms although that is ultimately down to him. The decision was made with strong intentions of having highlights at all games including away games (which as far as I’m aware Tony wouldn’t be at) and taking highlights in-house including interviews. I won’t go into my personal failed attempt to conduct interviews for the YouTube channel because it’s not my place to explain.
Sorry things haven’t worked out as myself and you guys would have hoped but from a personal perspective I feel I’ve done everything I can.

Hi all.
I would just like to say a massive thankyou to Tony who provided outstanding video highlights last season. It was great he did these as I couldn't get to the vast amount of matches last season due to being at university.
By looking at this thread, I understand that he cannot do highlights for away games.
I created highlights for just a few games last season.
I am going to Farnborough this Saturday with my dad.
If no one is able to do highlights for this Saturdays game, I would be more than happy to.

I know the decision was taken with the best intentions of the club at heart, even if the delivery of the message was a tad clumsy 😃 I’ve no idea why your plans have gone awry but send you good thoughts & thanks for the public note 👍

Think our club does its best in difficult circumstances off the pitch. Run by volunteers, some who also of jobs (including our charity) and all have families, which occasionally take priority over their duties for Poole Town. Duties for which they do not get paid. So if some things aren't quite right or 100% it isn't from want of effort. On the pitch, need to remind myself we aren't Man City. To be fair neither our any of our league opponents. We just need to concentrate on ourselves. And if we do our best I am sure we will enjoy the fruits of success sooner rather than later. Of course if we reach FAC3 Man City maybe our opponents after all. 😉

Hi all,
Just a quick note to let you know that, following a change of plan, I am now planning to film all Poole Town home matches this season.
Just to explain - I offer this service to all local non-league clubs, so I use the “away” slots to film for the other clubs.
Can’t have you thinking I’m being lazy 👀
See you Tuesday! 🐬
