Amongst all the play off excitement, let's remember WALKS' Testimonial next Wednesday 8th . I've spoken to Mike, & he's got a select x1 featuring some of players he's played with over his amazing career.

This is a game all Poole supporters will hopefully want to be at.
Michael has decided to retire from playing after the game so we must all do what we can to give him the sendoff he deserves.

Sadly stuck in West Moors cat sitting for my mum. Can get there, but no buses back after.
Know it is a great occasion I am missing.
Sorry to hear Michael Walker is retiring after this. His presence on the pitch both in defence and vocally will be much missed. Wish him and his family all the best for the future. Hope to see him at Tatnam as a supporter. But he should never have to pay to get in.
A true Poole Town legend in the full meaning of the phrase.

Hope there is a good crowd because this man deserves it - such a great servant to the club. One of my favorite memories - away at Weston and Mickey Walker charging down the wing to get a cross into the box - awesome All the best in the future

Great evening with a reasonable crowd who gathered to watch a fantastic show put on for Michael....
Personally it was fab to see AFCB of 2004 reunited with Gareth Stewart, Steve Fletcher, Carl Fletcher, Brian Stock, James Hayter (Yes, we saw his 3 goals in 4 mins against Wrexham at Dean Court!) and Alan Connell once again...
Also brilliant to see Walks, Micky Hubbard, Taff, Lamin Dibba, Skelts, Simon Browne, Petts, Carl Pore & Nick Hutchings amongst others in the Red & White again!!
Shame there weren't a few more to witness the evening....
