I also see Basingstoke won 10-3 against Staines having been 2-0 down..Apparently Staines could be on rhe verge of folding which would be a shame.

Sorry but that is a selfish attitude towards another club to just line your own pockets. Where is the sportsmanship in that? As happyhammer has said, it would be a shame!

I only ever want to benefit from what we do. Really hope Staines Town don't fold They are a club with a rich history. We need to do all we can to ensure they survive. After all we might find ourselves in a similar position in the future. As the fit & proper person test isn't fit for purpose. Looking forward to visiting Wheatseaf for our last game of the regular season. If we are lucky the play offs may follow.

Badly worded on my phone on the coach coming home. I should have said 'If I was being mercenary......' Apologies to everyone who was misled by my post, especially anyone from Staines Town who I hope continue to carry on their proud history.

It’s the effect it has on so many people. The players, staff, fans etc. Be a real shame for the whole league if they folded. Imagine if we were in the same predicament? Wouldn’t wish that on anyone so to even suggest their folding would be beneficial to us is out of order imo. Wouldn’t want the points under those circumstances!

Highlights here from Swindon.
Ben and George were both there and again tweeted brilliantly throughout the game ( and before and after). They also offered to video the game - and I have the footage to edit and post later. With Jack and Sam also there providing commentary until that failed, we’re really fortunate to now have such a great social media team. All we need now is the technology to support their efforts, hopefully we’ll iron out the issues soon. As you will have seen elsewhere - we also have Tony Bradley (TBTV) who has agreed to video and edit all our remaining home games. Judging by his first offering in the appalling weather at home to Walton Casuals I am sure we can look forward to more great highlights.
