I note that the Reserves are playing Oakwood Soccer Club (USA) on Saturday 16 February 2019 at 5pm. The match is at Hamworthy Ground. I have looked on the Oakwood FC website site and they have very many teams. Which of their teams is playing this match. It seems it will be a great international occasion.
Well done to Poole FC for putting on this event.

I do hope that many of you will go "over the Bridge" tonight to the Under 18 game. I think that you will surprised and impressed at the skill and determination levels of the USA team. Most of the MSL teams have major interests in developing home grown talent. Goalkeeping has always been a strong point with North American teams and i think that you will find their fitness levels impressive. Sounds like a good way to spend a Saturday Evening.. bearing in mind RTS reports from the County Ground dare we hope that one day PTFC will match facilities like that. ...........meanwhile its Doom to Froom!!! Superb spectacle at Hamworthy tonight. End to end stuff and with a goal to each team in either half, an honourable 2 all draw. According to one of their management team, one of their players is in the national U20 squad and he certainly looked it with the goal he scored in the 2nd half. Nearly as good as Sam Herrington's 1st half blockbuster. Well played lads.

This game was a brilliant end to another great day. Our lads played their full part in a superb game - they brought huge credit on themselves and the Club.Dan Herrihpngton can be rightly proud of an excellent group of fine footballers. Really good to see a respectable number of fans moving across from the Black Gold to take in the game and the team would have enjoyed the vocal support from the RWA.

Thanks to everyone who came tonight, having watched the first team go 2-0 up at the black gold we then headed to Hamworthy to prepare for our evening game, it was an evenly fought match with chances at both ends, the second half we were quite frankly superb huge credit to all the players in the squad. Secondly huge thanks to Paul organising this prestigious game against a very talented mls academy side boasting and international player , also thanks to John organising the food and all the fans and directors who came to support us a great weekend so far for Poole town. Last game of the weekend tomorrow against our other Poole town u18s in the league cup quarter final

Good game yesterday against the USA side
I am a little confused as to Poole Town teams. Was that the Reserves that played or the under Poole Town FC under 18's team? Or are they the same players?
The statement at the end of the post relates to a Poole Town Under 18's playing another Poole Town team.
What league do the Poole Town Under 18's play in?
Can someone shed some light on this please. Thanks

The reserves are newly formed this year and moving forward will be an older side providing a pathway for young players to break into the first team, currently in that reserve squad are 12 u18s who can still play u18 football , Poole town Wessex is the official feeder club to Poole town fc and currently have teams from u6-u18 totalling around 30 teams competing in the Dorset and Bournemouth youth leagues, todays game is between the Dorset doc 1 side and our Dorset division 2 side , hope that makes sense

Windy old day in Upton but the game was well played by both teams. Poole won 3-1....... or was that 1-3? Anyway, the Blues go forward to the semis.
