Of course I cannot comment on Brennan Ryan. I know he had a knock at one point and was away on academy duty another time but that is good info Stato. It is also ironic that as a centre back is injured, we are now short in that department. Credit should go to Sam House yesterday. It was not a tap in for that second goal, it spent so long in the air that it would have been easy to lose focus. Well done Sam, .

Having only seen Brennan in one game, I wasn't impressed and he looked a bit short on size and muscle. Obviously he came with a good pedigree and a longer look might have proved beneficial but sometimes, snap decisions have to be made. Not all the young loan players work out but it looks like we may have got this one wrong?

Rob, while I agree Brennan didn’t show his best in the cup game away to Wimborne you cannot judge someone on a single game which I know you wouldn’t. Firstly he came straight into a team of virtual strangers, no training with the team or anything. He was then asked to play out of position at right back on a pitch that should have escape lanes on the touch line such is the slope. That is not an excuse btw, but if you have rarely played there then your judgement of pass needs to be different than on a flat pitch. Also, with no disrespect, the whole team were poor that night and showed little quality. Regardless of pedigree, nerves are going to play a big part when you are thrown into an unfamiliar situation. This is why AfcB loan their young players out, to experience a different kind of pressure.
I totally agree not all young players work out and many fall by the wayside. It is a tough industry to try and make a living from and respect to anyone, whatever their level, that tries to do so. I can also understand your opinion on Brennan’s size and stature but, trust me, looks can be deceiving. Brennan’s nickname is ‘Crusher Camp’ and for good reason lol. As I have said, I feel sad that the Poole Town faithful didn’t get the opportunity to see this lad properly as I firmly believe he has a great future ahead of him. Did you get it wrong? Who knows? Wrong place, wrong time perhaps!

Can't disagree with anything you've said. Shame to see one get away particularly in our hour of need. I wish him well.

Sorry for the delay - I am back from my holiday now and have produced some highlights from Jordan's filming of the Salisbury game. Here is the first half. Second half to come. Unfortunately it looks like we are missing the final few minutes of the game so will not see House's goal. If anyone was recording it from behind the goal - feel free to post it.
