Do any other long standing supporters think this is just plain crazy given our current dilemma.
Spending probably upwards of £100k just so we are able to get to the National League at this time is pointless.
If there is money available to do this why not spend some on strengthening the team and give the fans some decent football to cheer. We can't fill the 250 seats we already have with gates barely averaging 350. What are we going to do offer free admission to the Oakdale Shool children just to make some noise !!!!!!
Come on BOD give this some serious thought we can't afford to waste money like M&S etc. this is a living and breathing entity that needs NLSouth football as its priority.

Applications cost virtually nothing and that's all this is. The club are just preparing the way for the remote chance that we'll be in the playoffs this season. I'd guess that you'd be one of the first to complain if we ended up in the same position as last season, barred from the playoffs. I don't know much about planning laws but I believe the permission is good for a few years and who knows what our position will be over the next few seasons.

Sounds like good forward planning to me I think planning lasts 5 years even longer if you start the work.
