Good luck to the Cycle Speedway club. Do they have a name armsey? Like 'Pirates' or something.

I discovered this last year as my mrs nephew races for them,we went to watch and was hooked, now my son goes on a Tuesday night and he loves it,we went most sundays in the summer and had a great time, the main first team racing is very exciting, with a slight bit of aggro too, superb.

March 20th: Poole/Seaview Coaches kicked off the season with a S.West League encounter with arch rivals Horspath and after 18 evenly balanced heats they lost by a narrow 3 point margin as the hosts notched a 7-3 in the final race. Scoreline HORSPATH 89 POOLE 86 Scorers: Aaron Morgan 18, Leyton Glover 13, Luke Armes 12, Chris Shylock 12, Ben Donohue 11, Sam Hearn 9, Aaron House 9, Dean Hook 2. No onE deseved to lose this match .. Was one of the closest and nailbiting Matches I have Rode in Credit to both teams

Tuesday nights is mainly a kind of practise night Brian,on a nice night there can be about 30 kids from about 6yrs up,and they all take part in mini races and anyone can attend for just £1.00!!
Its great, starts about 6.30 and goes on to about 9pm and the kids can get about 4 or 5 3 laps of racing in each over that time, plus they get to hang out and the parents can have a cuppa and something to eat.
They tend to have proper races on a Saturday and Sunday i think.

Tuesdays is a clubnight for the youngsters as said before there's normally loads of races and a gr8 Atmosphere Saturdays are only rare occasions such as junior league and britsh championship .. Will be lucky to have 2 Saturday meetings a year Sunday is the main race day .. Either south west (regional racing) or premier league (top level) every meeting Starts at about 2pm and there are always more than 1 match .. U have a main match which features the first team and then a second match featuring up and coming riders ... Remember all this is free And there is a canteen for refreshments e.g chips sandwiches and hot an cold drinks Would be brilliant to see as many people turn up to watch Hope this helps Brian
