The team are finally starting to click together and I'm looking forward to another good performance on Saturday!
The boys were brilliant against Hamble - especially Ryan Wolfy and Boris. Does anyone know when the draw for the next round is?

I thought the way Taffy was having a go at Gary Barlett throughout the match was appalling. As an experienced player in the team, surely he should be encouraging and giving advice to the youngsters, not forgetting his game to barrack the lad? Credit to Gary for not retaliating.

Just to add my thoughts to the post about Taffy above.
I was at the game and Taffy having a go at Gary happened right in front of me. Having voiced his feelings several times (as Taffy does!) Gary did actually turn round and tell Taff where to go. It was this that Taffy reacted to and at this point even I joined in and told Taff to get on with the game! At the time Taff gave me a bit of a mouthful as well!!
BUT......... at the end of the game Taff made a point of coming right across the pitch to me and apologised for his outburst during the game. He did explain that at 18 Gary needs some 'coaching' and in truth there is no-one better on the pitch than Taff with all his experience etc to do that.
To be honest Taff did not have to apologise to me for anything but the fact that he did says a lot about the guy in my opinion. We all know he is 110% committed in every game so although I was annoyed at Taff's roasting of Gary he really was doing it for all the right reasons and would we really want him to change? I wouldn't (and maybe I should have kept my mouth shut too!!)
And fair play to Gary as well. Probably aren't many who would tell Taff where to go and it all must be working as I think Gary is probably the most improved player from the start of the season.
Cheers,
Steve

Just to show how easy it is to get the wrong end of the stick, a story I was told at Hamble.
Taffy keeps calling Gary Bartlett "Bartlett" during the game. A supporter tells Taffy off, saying something like "his name is Gary". Taffy points out that we have two "Gary"s, and he needs to be clear which one he means.
As you say, Steve, Taffy clearly only wants the best for Poole Town, and "Bartlett" (!) seems quite capable of sticking up for himself, so let's just get behind the whole team tomorrow.
Cheers
Doug
