hi all,
just wondered if anyone has any information as to who is still going to be playing for poole town next season out of the players who played last season?
i take it karim is not anymore after reading another post.
im my opinion poole town should be looking to keep the young players at the club- the likes of Ryan woofenden, Marc Jackson and Neil Potter. instead of concentrating on players who are only going to be playing for the next couple of seasons...the young players are what local non-leauge clubs thrive- why cant poole be the same??
also, anyone know much about the new manager? i was very shocked to see paul and dean have been let go.
cheers

The reserve side will be used to develope young players preparing them for first team football, they will of course play alongside senior squad players... i have been recently watching alot of u16s football, I have managed to secure some very talented youngsters....I found myself competing with Wimbourne Town, Hamworthy Utd and Dorchester and Brockinghurst.....the telling factor is all these a players are from Poole.
Next season will see a number of young players giving the stage to perform at a very high level, Dorset Senior.....

My son Marc (Jackson) has already signed for DSL and I know tommy is very keen, having already spoken to marc as long as he is in tommys plans then marc will be a PTFC player next season........
Reserve Team News: other quality youngsters already signed DSL are:
Johnny Byrom(16) quality young defender Paul Bastom(16) played for me at AFC Bournemouth a good technical player confortable in any position Carl Chivers(16)Striker excellent pace, Plays well off a target man. will score goals Chris Snell(16) Attacking Midfield, good team player. Scott Hancock(16) very strong right sided player, interest from Aldershot last season, wanted YTS. Played for me at u18s level when 15years old. Dave Sturgess(16)Central Midfield another from my AFC B'mouth days, Strong direct good technical ability. Steve Thompson(18)Striker Hants County U21, electric pace needs a fresh challenge, will score goals Jason Lear(18)Striker, very fast good technique, will score goals.
There are more quality young players who i am still talking too at the moment.....
