Cool Glen61! Elsewhere I said you must be clever to phone yourself up and then post what you say at the same time and now that I've seen you I know it's the truth!!! Welcome to the RWA! Brian - RWA - I like that! A number of clubs in the BSP have formed groups of supporters who get behind the team vocally, with flags (hanging and waving), banners, balloons, streamers, confetti and even smoke. I might be wrong, but I think Aldershot started the trend. OUFC have two groups now, both young and enthusiastic and non violent - the UY (Ultimate Yellows) and GE (Some Italian name I can't remember). The GE have an impressive 20 foot yellow and blue flag, that says "We Ride Tomorrow at Dawn". Here is a short video of the GE at Crawley last Saturday: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=MpjeQJ5F4_EPerhaps we can put on a similar show one day, with our very own RWA? Perhaps the FAV Final next season?

Aldershot have the RBA (Red & Blue army), they do alot with flags etc to create a good atmosphere. I like the idea of RWA and also the barmy army type thing you get with the England cricket following. Also in the last couple of decades the tartan army pride themselves on making an enjoyable party atmosphere.
If things keep going at there present gradual rate then It's possible with the rise up the leagues Poole Town could have a good following that would help bring in more fans and families to an enjoyable freindly atmosphere at games. People need that affordable, enjoyable time of escape from the downers of the real world.
