Certainly the Directors and the new Reserve manager Kevin Jackson met with league officials last Friday evening. As far as I know the meeting went very well but the officials will need to vote on the matter - probably within the next week or so.
Will update once I know anything more,
Steve

If Poole Town are allowed to put their reserves straight into the DSL it will be a slap in the face to all those clubs who are diligently working their way through the league system.
What is worse is the arrogance shown when you people just expect to just step in at this level.
Just remember for all your bravado you are in the same position as you were when you fell out of the Southern League all those years ago - one step below the Wessex League and the same level as played by your last reserve side.
Maybe a dose of reality and the odd sprinkle of humility wouldn't go amidst.

Tony
I'm not sure what is arrogant about asking the Dorset League to consider placing us in the Dorset Senior League. If they turn the club down, so be it. I don't think that we "expect" anything. Steve simply refers to a meeting that appeared to go well.
I think your presumption of widespread arrogance at Poole Town "...you people..., ...your bravado...." is misguided and smacks a little of bitterness (I recall a similar tone to your previous posts). Am I right in thinking you're connected to Hamworthy United FC? If so, I could make some sweeping generalisations about your officials and supporters based on the behaviour of a few that I witnessed there. Such generalisations would, of course, be equally inappropriate.
Still, it's nice to know you're maintaining your vigil on our behaviour.

Having a reserve side in the dorset senior league will be a good move, Mr JACKSON your manager, is he the same person that took Christchurch youth from Div 2 to 1 in Hants u18s Youth League using 15 to 16 year olds..., the same who was with AFC Bournemouth and Swindon Town, so if this is so, then i feel that the PFC have appointed the right person who has a youth developement background and can only be good for the club.....also playing at senior level will give these talented youngster's a stage to perform ....good luck

Poole Town have made the right choice in appointing Kev Jackson as the Res Manager, I know kevin well, he is an excellent coach and understands players and gets the best out of them.
Good luck top banana.....I'll be looking at your players closely... see if you can discover another Matt Bound or Fitzroy Simpson.
