I found it ironic that they mention the state of the pitch. While soft in places we managed to play football on it. Taunton, as we have seen before, play a long ball game where the state of the pitch is not crucial.

The one good thing about all this rain, is that we still have a lot of grass on it, as it has been well watered. No doubt some pitches we will visit soon will be more mud than green stuff. Perhaps that's why the Somerset side play the long ball, given that passing on their pitch is too many bobbles send them astray. 😉

Yes suprised regards the comments there manager made considering there pitch which is not the best playing surface to play good attractive football on!!!
