Much to the growing frustration of all at the club, tonight's fixture with Beaconsfield Town has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at the Black Gold Stadium. Inevitably, having not had a home game in over a month, with multiple games postponed, the financial implications are taking on increased effect. Unprecedented and unwelcomed weather is consistently contributing to a concerning amount of lost revenue with most fixtures being moved to Tuesday evenings later on in the season. With the forecast looking promising at the end of the week, we are hopeful of the Taunton fixture going ahead on Saturday. We wholly understand the frustration of supporters at the moment and not being able to see the side in action, however, we would like to encourage as many supporters down to the Black Gold on Saturday afternoon. With a bolstered attendance and hopefully a key victory, we would hope that Saturday's fixture could provide the boost that the club need to kick on, on and off the pitch. We would like to thank all supporters of this great football club for sticking with us at this difficult time and hope to see you on Saturday.

We [weymouth] had similar problems when when we moved into the BLS 25+ years ago if my memory serves me we didn't play a home game for 6/7 weeks in the end we played Wealdstone [vinnie jones et al]at Dean Court maybe its something you could consider if the present situation continues?

I think realistically Wimbourne would prob be the only ground maybe Dorchester but im guessing the club might be expected to subsidise travel for some fans regards distance and other costs incurred ground hire fines etc prob to expensive and a loss to the club. Regards Dean Court if maybe Afc Bournemouth were not Premier division possibly yes but to far up the pyramid me thinks for us to do a little ground sharing. But im sure the BoD have thought of all alternatives /plan B.

this could lose us the chance of promotion...
DORC is the best place . as they have all the facilities we as a club need.. and i expect they would welcome that extra income..

the team has lost all momentum since all these postponements and this is not the first season that postponements cause havoc to our progress. Are the club ever going to sort out this problem?

Rain, Hail, and 55 mph gusts of wind forecast. Let's hope for once they've got it wrong.

No idea about the weather but the pump that the supporters’ club donated appears to be doing as intended which is excellent news. Thanks to all who have contributed to the Supporters Club - through 100 Club, purchasing merchandise from the club shop, buying from Cheeso’s stand on a match day - through any other sort of donation.

Rain started when Met Office said it would, between 8 & 9. Let's hope it stops as they say between noon & 1. Hope they've got it wrong for the 6pm to 10pm part though.
